Any other ideas?
gotta send in a question as either Hollinger or, preferably, Donkinger. Screen cap when it's posted.

We can be a tad obnoxious.
Anyone who reads a homer thread should expect obnoxiousness, so I don't know why they would carry it over to here.

Also, I called it a month ago but the Cavs homers (all two of them for the most part) are way more annoying than every Lakers homer except for wetleg or whatever his name is, who is in a class by himself.

Letting Tyson Chandler go was also A+ for them.
03-10-2009 , 01:45 PM
Whoops I meant to say Joe Lunardi asking about Tulane in the NCAA tourney. Formulating a Hollinger question now.

Vinnie Del Negro has to be one of the worst coaches in the NBA

Woah.

the lakers homers aren't even annoying, other than dsch, I just like talking ****, and apparently jmill and calderooooooooooni do too.

Last night there was some laker fan sitting in what must be $1500 tickets, hahaha the look on his face was priceless. Kobe couldn't rape his team to victory last night.

You sir, are not a gentleman or a scholar.

But you guys do have great fans!

Beat LA! Beat LA!

That is so only the 14th time or so I've posted that.

SaltCracka, you should come over to the dark side. Become a Lakers fan. It's more fun, I promise.
03-10-2009 , 01:53 PM
jmill on fire with the links today, everyone has brought a huge smile to my face.

it would be hilarious if salta turned heel and became a lakers fan, although it would be better if it was a poster from a real team like the spurs or the pistons or something.

jmill,

You need to work on sick burns that don't involve youtube.

Anyway, I am evidently headed to the PHX-CLE game on Thursday with wee kidcolin, don't have a ticket yet but I got us the illest passes in the joint to the underground area, may just scalp a nosebleed to get in the door and watch it from down there. I'm gonna be rooting extra hard for a Suns win because I love all most of my Celtics homies and hating on the Cavs has become fashionable these days. And I'm all about fashion.
03-10-2009 , 01:55 PM
only ****'s like the Lakers.
03-10-2009 , 01:58 PM
God dammit they closed the chat before my Hollinger question got through. Probably realized that paying this guy to answer questions about obscure Tulane athletes from ESPN personalities is probably not the best way to spend ever-dwindling newspaper profits.

am I suppose to get rattled over a youtube video? Like step your game up son, your **** is weak.

2005 Game 6 between Phoe and Dal on NBATV right now btw.

fyi I am a closet Lakers fan, basically if I don't watch a sport I just root for the Lakers/Yankees type teams, so when I was growing up I just rooted for the Lakeshow. Now that I actually like the NBA I root for my home state team, but I only disliked the Lakers for a while because of dschm trolling and making me hate them. Now I kinda like them, but I also <3 Utah for some reason, but they are both so far below the Cavs that I basically root for them to lose if it helps the Cavs

With 2:09 left in the game its Portland 106, Lakers 79.

Final score: Portland 111, Lakers 94.

Over 202 says "thanks"!

you should not have posted this, as it pretty much reaffirms my preconceived notion that you didn't like the Cavs until Lebron got there.

jmill,

That wouldn't be the first time you've showed your ass in this thread.
03-10-2009 , 02:16 PM
Thread is off the hook today. Salty get owned, Schwals a Laker fan, sick youtube links, phx missing the playoffs, etc.

yea, I don't think he was trying to hurt fernandez, but to use lawyer terms, he was going for the block with a reckless disregard for rudy's health. He has to know his succuss rate is low and what the consequences of his actions will be.

I wouldn't really blame him if that's the case, but he's also like.. 14. So let's cut him a little slack. I missed a good chunk of the Pitino->Obie transition.

I prefer young to wee.

Confirmed. I was going to post about it later, but my NBA road trip starts tomorrow. Itinerary:

Weds: Fly down to PHX, meet up with a buddy from home.
Thurs: spring training baseball game in the afternoon, then lower bowl seats to Cavs @ Suns, plus balla illest underground passes from tup.
Fri: Drive back to Sac. Cavs @ Kings
Sat: off. Chillax. Probably needed as I'm just starting to come down with something, probably due to Vegas last weekend. I got l33t immune skillz, though, so hopefully I'm fine tomorrow.
Sun: Double header at the Staples Center. Mavs @ LAL in the afternoon, NJ @ LAC in the evening. Probably wearing my Perk Is A Beast shirt + Celtics hat to these.
Mon: My friends never been to Cali, so probably doing the drive up the coast at least part of the way (I've already done highway 1 three times.. it gets old after a couple hours). Spend the day in SF.
Tues: LAC @ Woyas.

I'm bringing a camera, so I'll have a mega trip report sometime next week.
