I thought about Nerlens instead of ROLO for my last pick but didn't really wanna gamble too hard there - even if he's going to be an elite rim protector I expect it to take a few years to learn to defend and he's also an injury risk (imo). I think KG would be the superior risky option tbh.

I also thought about Mirotic, and I think he could have helped out a few teams but it's so hard to project guys that haven't played NBA before.

The two biggest undrafteds I'd expect to go in most other places are Rondo and Monroe (and maybe ZBo) I think

ZBO is a pretty insane undrafted. There are at least 5 teams that he'd be an upgrade over their PF.

Monroe underrated around here I guess. I think hes pretty much as good as Pek and likely better than Vucevic in terms of guys that don't spread the floor or protect the rim that were drafted.

Id take him over the 30 games Varejao will play this year next to Josh and probably take him over Jonas next to Brow in this as well.

Might like him more than Diaw and Draymond in their spots.

He was one of the guys I was talking about waiting on instead of taking Drummond right after drafting Ibaka.

I normally agree with the rookie thing, but Nerlens has had an entire season and two offseasons basically practicing and playing with NBA players. He was dominant in SL. I think he's a lock to come out of the gate as a solidly positive player.

Moneyball I disagree about Monroe being > Vuc for DarO, Vuc can definitely shoot which makes him a pretty sweet pairing next to a rim protector like Gibson. I haven't looked hard at all the teams yet but I think DarO did a pretty good job surrounding KD with the right guys, particularly in the frontcourt.

Yeah Smart, Chalmers or Oladipo probably better than Tucker for DarO.

And yeah looking at Vucs shot chart he seems to spread it better than I thought.

I also think Tyreke probably could have helped some teams. He played very well for a long stretch as a starter toward the end of the year. Difficult to build around especially with just 5 guys, but he is way better than a lot of the undrafteds listed in that post.

Also I was surprised that the TRoss/Tucker crop never took a look at Khris Middleton. Seems like they were equal on "D" with Khris having better "3" and more attempts at the rim.

I haven't watched much of Middleton, but is he even close to equal as those guys on D? Tuckers really solid and TRoss is a little small, but pretty solid on D too and gets most of the tough assignments for a good defensive team.

I was hoping someone drafted Greg Monroe. Very curious to see how he will look under SVG and could be a big improvement.

Also a bit surprised no one took David Lee.

Nerlens is a rookie; I don't think it's wrong he went undrafted in a one-season league

Although, it's easy to argue that some teams with little title equity needed to take risks with a player like him or others who could help them move up the rankings during the season if they play well

calderon is a sick pick, league avg (or even slightly below) pg who is an elite 3 point shooter.

when it comes to a bunch of the possible picks at this point (middleton/ross/tucker/whoever) i think it's pretty hard to differentiate between them because of different roles on winning/losing teams.
