Got some tough choices and seeing what offers I get, but will have pick up within the half hour. Sorry.

This team can score the ball, they have some very compentant scorers for the 1-4 positions. (Terry, MJ, Smith, and Howard are all good-excellent offensive scorers, and I expect some of these guys to be more efficient than their career stats suggest since they won't have to always be the #1 or #2 option) This team is also pretty stellar defensivley. They are a bit undersized and this could pose some match up problems against some of the bigger teams, but they are still a formidable defensive team!
i agree

wanna be my coach

oh and vote against coaches cuz i would get stuck with the ****tiest one

and I probably panicked with the smith pick but I dont think its as bad as everyone is making it out to be. i was gonna take detlef in round 2 but felt i needed a strong interior defense threat and thats what Camby does and has done for a longgggg time.

Ratliff is a very solid pick imo. I disagree on CP3 having a higher ceiling though...I mean, yes its POSSIBLE that CP3 turns into the greatest player ever, but I'd put his chances of turning out better than Stockton at lower than 50% for sure, and I was one of those defending the pick at first(the more I think about it the more I dilslike it though).

His team is a mixed bag to me. Like the Cummings and Ratliff picks. Baker is ok. I think Rip is overrated. I think Stockton would've been a much better pick in the first.

If you're using Barbosa as a 6th man, i kinda like the pick. If he is your starting 2 - ick.

Regardless, I don't see how he and marbury work together on the court defensively. Prob the same way Nash and Leandro work together on D - not well.

I think Odom is generally underrated and would have been preferable if he was still available, and shareef would also be a good option if he was available. I am not going to preent to know enough about Okafor's career to comment on him. The nice thing about DC with Shaq is that you have two pretty athletic tanks in their primes. They should clean up the boards and match up better defensivley with some of the bigger teams. Also, I realize this might sound like a stretch but I think having another strong post presence with Shaq is great because everyone is going to be in serious foul trouble! Look at how much better Amare's stats have been with Shaqs arrival, and he is currentley a shadow of his former self. I really think matching him up with another good post player makes a lot of sense. You sacrifice some efficiency with DC, but he does have some postive advantages too IMO. I'm not arguing it was a great pick per se, but everyone hated it so much and I think it was overdone a bit.

I agree 100% about Josh Smith and think it was a poor pick. I was defending the team in general, because everyone seems to have written them off. Despite that poor pick, I can see this team being one of the premier teams in the league. I think there are a few teams they will have some serious match up problems with (Such as the Shaq team, the Hakeem team, and any other team that ends up being huge), but on the whole this is very good team and everyone seems to have completley written them off. Smith was a waste though, I can't argue that.
I agree about the MJ team...its not nearly as bad as people are making it out to be.

Regarding Bobbo's team, I love the EJ pick, but imagine he could've ended up with Shaq/Sabonis!!! Wow at that possibility.

SPREE! He was my absolute favorite player when I was in high school. I loved that Warriors team! Spree, Webber, Mullin (unfortunately hardaway got injured). I still hate Don Nelson to this day for breaking up that team, and I never faulted Spree for choking PJ Carlisemo. And I think history has now shown that PJ had it coming.

That said Spree is a touch crazy.

But I love him in the open court!

D

PS Also '99 Knicks love!

A few of us have talked about doing a website. If I didn't have poker, my college coach offered me a job to come back as an assistant and I probably would've taken that. But so much of advancing is "who you know" imo, so its definitely a tough road.

Kukoc
Barkley
Willis

Just want to mention that I think Kukoc and Barbosa would be pretty sick together.
I like Barbosa, but thats a strange defensive PG/SG combo there.

One reason is that he logged a ton of minutes and PER is a per minute stat I think.
