Brad Miller and Pau on the same team would be sooooo doughy

Fairly important rules clarification here which I was just asked in a PM:

If a player entered the league before age 24, missed their entire age 24 season due to injury/playing in a different league/personal issues/etc., and then came back later then you get him at the age in which he came back to the league. In other words, say that a player played from ages 21-23, but then didn't play again until age 26...you would get him at 26. You would not have to have an empty roster spot for 2 years before getting him.

Sorry for not clarifying this earlier. If anyone disputes this decision then I am willing to discuss it, but I think its majorly unfair to make a team have to get an empty roster spot for a few years.

Not with the decision, but with the timing lol.

yeah, here you can use defense. cassell has longevity tho. meh, it's really close. sam/tb were 1/2 of the PGs left for me, and once sam i am was off the board, there was enough drop off after tb for me to want to pick him.

in round 2, i think andre miller is better, actually, and i suppose so is cassell. regardless, he's better than jose, mookie. baron is a weird guy to fill in.

IMO that means that you should only get Jordan in the 3rd Jordan era (I don't know how to make the smirk face)

I agree with this.

1. Shoot first PGs
2. Not efficient
3. Short players

3 things I don't like. With that said, I'm fully aware that those 3 things make me biased agianst him and hes probably better than I'm giving him credit for.
Except..
1. For a shoot first PG, he didn't shoot a whole lot. ~22% career USG, this is barely above avg.
2. Not efficient? it's not like he has a sub 50% TS. 52% TS is below avg but nothing poor.
3. 5'11 is short, but he's always had good defensive ratings/he forces a ton of steals. Can't argue here, it's pretty obvious he's going to be guarding the smallest player on the other team.

If you would like to change your pick based upon this ruling, I would be ok with that. I would then give Bobbo the chance to change his pick to Rik Smits if he wanted to. I would rather not do this because then you've "hinted at" Rik Smits, but I think its fair. The only thing, of course, is that you couldn't change your pick to Terrell Brandon ldo.

I would, but I also don't want to cause any problems. I'd like to know others thoughts on it.

This issue was the main deciding point between my pick.

I wouldn't care. I can't even fathom who it would apply to though. I feel stupid because of that.

It's funny, at the beginning of this we all kind of knew that MJ's team would inevitably win. I am not sure that there is a worse team out there than Mike's so far...(excluding mike obv imo)

Edit: Bynum's team worse, Horford's

Also, all the teams near the end of the snakes should be around after their first pick because they will be up again soon, c'mon.

To be fair he should have 4 players on his team now but traded one of his picks. But yeah it's less than spectacular. Injury concerns plus Josh Smith is a knucklehead, not the gameplan I would've implemented had I started with MJ.

stuck on horizon at the moment.

i think any teams wanting to change their pick (to someone who this new rule affects) should be able to PM assani (although the "bad" picks that have been really, really smashed in this thread should have to stay unless they present a really, really good argument). i really doubt that anybody cares if dude changes his pick right now

Without giving my pick away before I finish talking about it with Assani, I was down to two guys, and it was a really tough call. I liked one guy a bit more and thought he was a better fit, but I thought I'd get him at 24 and pretty much miss full two seasons, so I passed on him.

Before I made my pick I said I wished Assani was around in the thread because my pick pretty much hinged on this interpretation. He came back, I pm'd him the question (not really expecting to be able to change, just to know the answer), and here we are.

I dont care about it - mainly becuz it just happened and its Smits - and i dont know - i just dont care - but I dont like what this can turn into...I dont want others to use this excuse to redo their bad picks.

Ehh...Rodman was a different knucklehead. He was turbulent, but never a selfish player like Smith. I mean, your team is still one of the best and obviously you have the best player, I just think I would've gone a different route. Perhaps you have a better gameplan that will evolve down the road though. Your defense is gonna be sick too.
