The Ocelot's whole genus is full of cute little bastards that are totally useless in this draft.

And yeah just make it a female and call it good. That's what I did with the Caracal

I've got it listed in the spreadsheet as a female, already.

I thought the problem with the cone snail is that it can only attack from 1 side of it's body and it can't move while having a bare bottom side. Not of these apply to the eel. And I don't see the eel being terrible on land. It'll probably squiggle like all snakes do. It breathes 'air' anyways.

I think the falcon, bat and owl are all great picks. Again, the advantage of having wings is unbelieveably high. I don't see how any insect is going to be able to attack a flying creature on it's own time. If you HAVE to take what you are given in a fight, that is an automatic and terrible disadvantage. Imagine being in a fight where you're up against a much faster opponent and the only way you can attack is if he comes close. Unless you have a huge advantage in size/skill/strength which isn't any of the cases here, there is a very little chance you win.

The featherweight division has definitely taken a turn for the better, in terms of picks. I would happily take any of picks 5-10 in a 1v1 fight against any of the top 4 picks. Those first four are the clear bottom four taken so far. It's pretty hilarious imo.

Also crap, I just realized I'm almost up again and I have no idea what I want to do with this pick... let the hurried research commence...

someone else mentioned this, but this whole draft is sick because one person will draft what they think is an awesome pick, and then BAM, someone just drafted their sole predator. Its total one up-manship.

It'll be hilarious when we do the tourney and someone who drafted a pair of mongooses loses in the first round to someone with no snakes, hehe.

I was thinking about pairing the mongoose with the caracal. Snake/Bird killahs.

How would a owl do vs a bat? Tough to tell, but I think a falcon does pretty good against those 2 so imo

Falcon>Bat???Owl
