I'm playing him in fantasy. I'm a 49ers homer, a Gore fanboy, and luckily I conceded defeat before the week started. Frank gets on pace for 2000 today, 1-2 more TDs

He should. He's the head coach. Not saying that it's all his fault, but he put the entire blame on Fassel when it was clear that Billick was partly to blame as well.

You know, I actually tried to re-word it so it wouldn't sound that way.

How did he put the entire blame on Fassel? I follow the team closely and I never ever saw him give anything but priase to Fassel in any interview he did.

Yes he is the head coach and has to accept blame...thats why he fired the OC and took control of the playcalling himself- so that if his ship sinks, then at least it sinks with him at the helm.

This must be a record for fumbles in one week. Maybe because of directv I am just watching way more games, well obv I am, but it seems like every game 4+ fumbles.

I was thinking the same thing, fumbles everywhere. Maybe all those fumbles in Madden 08 aren't that crazy after all.
