No, but I've worked in casinos for 18 years. Got used to watching a lot of games without the sound on, learned how to see what was happening with my own eyes, instead of being dependent upon clueless announcers like most people are.

I still can't find any mention on the internet of the concussion Mike Vrabel gave Donovan McNabb in SB39, leading to his onfield vomiting, horrendous passing, and worst 2min drill ever. We all SAW it, but since the announcers didn't notice it, you didn't, either.



When it happened, I couldn't believe McNabb lived through it. Vrabel's helmet hits him in the chinstrap, and his head can't recoil because it's on the ground, his chin bears the full brunt of it. Throws a wounded duck pass into double coverage for an INT next snap, negated by penalty. Does it again on the snap after that, this time no penalty.

All Dick Stockton gave you was "McNabb trying to shake off the cobwebs after that last play," as McNabb cartoonishly tried unsuccessfully to clear his head. Much later in the game, Stockton noted, "McNabb getting up like a fighter who has been hit too many times."

Postgame, McNabb refused to make any excuses, repeatedly congratulated New England instead. I've always admired him for that.
