Fun fact: The card includes 4 fighters who are in the top10 all-time for fight night bonuses. The guy who campaigned for the bigger bonuses has 12 post fight bonuses in 12 UFC fights (plus 3 fights of the year) and fights another guy in the top10.

And even he is looking super skeptical of Strickland...

Just saw Max weigh in, looked like someone who had a proper weight cut to 155 as opposed to someone where you can tell they just cut way less weight than usual like Usman vs. Khamzat.

Re Bryce Mitchell, I think he might qualify as intellectually disabled so I'm not sure how much fun we're supposed to make of someone like that but good riddance.

Strickland is just a bullshitter. Can't take anything he says seriously. Not long ago he kept saying he's not going to fight again unless it's for the title. Not only did he not get the DDP rematch, they make him fight Costa who lost 3 of 4 while Izzy is getting an immediate title shot with the winner of Whitaker vs. Khamzat probably next in line.

Bryce may very well be but take those limitations with his true believer mentality and it's a dangerous combo.

So somehow all 13 fights held up and everyone made weight. I'm not a religious man but I believe we have all witnessed a miracle.

And yeah, Max looks great.

As stated earlier I didn't think that was possible.

Actually looked happy at 155. At 136 she looks like a recently rescued prisoner of war. Holly Holm looked pretty terrible, too. But at least she's already in her 40's. Kayla is 33.

Holy ****, Kayla looks rough in that picture - not surprising though, that's a hell of a cut. Reminiscent of the McGregor massive cuts. I'd be curious to know what she weighs walking into the octagon tomorrow.

Here we go, pretty exited.

That's how my watch looks like after crashing my bike this morning. Will have to wait for the kids to go to bed before adding beer to the pain killers.

Probably once people saw that he'll be much bigger than Kattar on fight night.

Rakic basically looked the size of Pereira but except for the small cut next to the eye his punches had zero effect on Jiri. Pretty crazy.

Gotta wonder if the line moved because of information out of Gaethje's camp. If he trained with people from Elevation in addition to Wittmann that's a lot of people who might have known.

UFC 205 in New York was probably not much earlier? That card also had two fights go the 5 round distance before the main event.

I guess at least the ME went as I had expected. Have a hard time imagining Izzy at 205 against Pereira without him bulking up over a decent amount of time. He looked crazy small against Jan and Pereira is on a completely different level.

The problem is there's no way Izzy fights this man at 205lbs, if Rogan is correct he weighed 235lbs and shredded tonight, dude is a heavyweight and Izzy would want him drained as much as possible to fight him again.

Who is next for Pereira then?

I'd imagine UFC isn't gonna just be like oh ok Ankalaav it is your turn and let Pereira get 50-45'd in a boring fight

guy is closest thing theyve had to mike tyson that i can recall

Let him fight for the hw title and potentially be the first guy to get 3 belts in 3 divisions?
