Seems like Woodley wants $ fights. Tough break for him they can't really do him vs Nick Diaz since Nick hasn't won a fight since 2011.

Doubt he wants to be fighting WB again.

Who doesn't want money fights? I would understand his point of view if he was more of a fan favorite or if he has been doing anything but dodging the top guys for years now. In my opinion, WB deserved the title shot with Robbie Woodley ended up getting.

Just not sure if we would get a Conor/Diaz IV right after if Diaz wins. Diaz would be 2-1 vs him and I wouldn't be to thrilled with seeing the same fight 4 out of 5 fights for Conor even though they would be great fights.

Just rename the company MDFC (McGregor Diaz Fighting Championship) and have a new Diaz-McGregor fight every 3 months.

Ha, I was thinking yesterday that they should have a staple annual bout until one of them clocks up 10 wins.

I'm amazed Diaz is still able to get a license to fight anymore. The guy can no longer speak coherent English.

Yes but Diaz was never coherent in the first place so I wouldn't take it as a sign of brain damage when deciding licensing.

Diaz probably speaks better now than he did when he was on tUF

Floyd Mayweather being uncharacteristically classy in regards the future of Ronda Rousey...

"Ronda Rousey, hold your head up, stay focused, keep believing. A true champion can bounce back. You'll be ok, everything will be ok."

Todd Grisham is Mike Goldberg's replacement .

Watched some Yair videos on youtube of his previous fights.

I know BJ got a good camp in at Jackson's but this guy is gonna kill him.

BJ's only hope is Greg Jackson being able to convince him wrestling/bjj is his only chance. If he goes into the fight with a Damien Maia backpack game plan and sticks to it I like his chances...

The only way it works even slightly is if Cowboy says "**** it" and cuts to 155, which would be the Cowboy thing to do but kind of a shame from a performance standpoint or to make the fight at a 165 catchweight or something.
Cowboy would be a good stand-in replacement if anybody ever pulled out on Conor ala Diaz I. Cowboy seems to still have the mindset of taking any fight any weight even though the UFC wants to push him in 170. I couldn't imagine Cowboy now calling for the fight the next time somebody pulls out within a month of a fight on Conor.

Cowboy wants to fight any weight any time but I think the no IV rules makes '55 almost impossible for him to make and compete at a high level. Especially on short notice.

on short notice it has no reason to be at 155, especially if cowboy isn't currently competing at the division and in the title picture.

Floyd has offered Conor 15 million to fight. Floyd wants 100 though. Said it will be in LA or Vegas.

Im in for a McGregor vs Mayweather fight. I know it would be lopsided but id watch just for the off-chance McGregor connects with the left.

I doubt we'll ever see Conor in the Octagon again if he gets this fight. The UFC must be ****ting themselves.

15 million seems way too low for him to get completely embarrassed, I think he'd need to earn at least 30, but maybe 50 to be interested in this fight. He's already earning 10-15 million per fight and can hand-pick his opponents in the UFC.

Why would be take this fight? Humiliation for the pay day? OK. But then he would definitely be back in the Octagon? Unless you mean he dies in the ring or something.

It's 15 million plus PPV points. He'd make more in that one fight than several UFC fights.

But how would he be affecting his future earnings? He has to think about that. Getting destroyed in a fight isn't a good look even if it's in a different sport.

I take it that FM wouldn't ever consider a kick boxing contest or something like that? Isn't it obvious to any sports fan that, aside from someone having a huge weight advantage or something, that each guy would be a huge favourite in their own sport?

If I was CM and I wanted some action I'd constantly troll FM, saying that I'd win in a street fight easily etc, so at least show some balls and agree to kickboxing.

You guys think that FM is so much better at boxing that, even as a 40 year old in a lighter weight class, he's still be a monster favourite? I see it that way for sure, but some guys fall off a cliff pretty quickly when they rely on speed and reflexes.
