He wasn't dominated so much as he just wanted to bear hug him for 15 minutes.

Was just chatting about taking out everyone in the division then he quit.

I guess Burkman never loses consciousness until he's dead

yea i'm surprised they let that go on for so long

dude was dead on his feet in the first round after that one punch and then third was brutal

He was still awake and was getting to all fours

Cote just wouldn't let up, I don't think it was really a poor stoppage and I'm usually one that wants them to err on the side of sooner rather than later

Pretty horrible main event. Card actually went downhill after a decent start. Some really lame duck fights.

what a shame, holloway vs oliveira had a great first minute. Would have been a fantastic 15 minute fight.

Never seen wiki list a fight as 'TKO-Esophagus Injury' before. Bet it's happened but I haven't seen it.

Holloway does seem like he's got some big time potential.

Joined the UFC when he was only 20, pretty crazy. Went 3-3 to start out with, but he was super young (20-21) during that stretch. And one of the losses was a decision loss to McGregor which really doesn't look bad at all for a 21 year old kid in retrospect.

Since that 3-3 start he's won 7 straight. He's got a lot of things I like in a prospect:

- Young (still only 23!)
- Fights a ton (7 fights in the last 20 months)
- Finishes opponents (in the seven-fight win streak he has 3 KO/TKOs, 2 submissions, 1 injury TKO and only 1 decision

He just became the youngest fighter ever to hit double digit wins in the UFC. Kid has a bright future imo, I'd love to see him challenge for the belt soon.

He said he wants Edgar next in a title eliminator which sounds about right.

I don't know if I've ever been more impressed (maybe I should say in a surprising way) by a losing fighter that gets finished than his first fight against Poirier. I took major note from the get-go in his UFC tenure.

team mcgregor vs team faber...brings back memories of old school UF. tell u what, back in the day, those were some sick episodes, like seasons 1-3 or so.

The early seasons were great because there were so many legit fighters involved. Not even 'prospects' but basically many of them were already proven awesome fighters.

These days the best prospects just sign directly and don't want to do TUF.

Tuf just got boring for me.

Last season I watched was the chick version with Miesha and Rousey.

God Ronda came off like such a bitch in that lol.

But her love of Pokemon won me back over.

Stopped watching with TUF Live on FX and haven't ever returned

The Gastelum/Hall season was pretty darn good for a swan song

I'll watch this season of TUF just cause I'm Irish and will understand and cringe at all the completely scanger/dublin gurrier things McGregor will do and say.

Man does anyone else feel like the UFC has been declining every year. Seems like they keep stretching cards thinner and thinner. Never forget those old days of UFC PPV when everyone was 20+ deep at their friends house for the events....sigh

cards are indeed wafer thin these days.
Sure they bought out Pride, WEC, Strike Force, took on all the fighters and have a card practically every week. You'd be lucky if there's 2 good matches.
Plus they seem to give every can on TUF at least 2 fights in the UFC. Kind of defeats the purpose of the show
