this steroid accusation talk by diaz sounds a **** lot like some prefight deflection for when he inevitably pisses hot for pot (again) and is expelled from ufc.

GSP vs Diaz is getting a lot of hype. I just don't see Diaz winning. I am not saying he doesn't have a chance, but I think GSP will have a better game plan... well the only game plan. Diaz's game plan go straight at GSP and punch... repeat..

Hey

Can anyone give a good estimate of when the GSP/Diaz fight will actually start?

I take it it's the last fight on the card, and the main card starts at 10pm, so like 12:30am ET?

I have places to go and people to see downtown tonight but I'm hoping I can jump into a sportsbar to watch GSP/Diaz. I really have 0 care for UFC most of the time but this fight is getting hyped like CRAZY here in Canada.

yeah i think it's usually 1130pm-midnight EST for the main event fight on these cards

Main card

Welterweight - Georges St-Pierre (c) vs. Nick Diaz

I would guess closer to 11.30-12 than 12.30. 4 other fights on before the main event, three 5 min rounds at most in each. So say 15 mins for the fight plus another 15 for entrances, result and any video package they show. Thats a total rough estimate but using that it has the main event starting 2 hours into the show. Obviously the fights might finish in the 1st round which will accelerate things.

eyes an interesting focal point so far

in one of the earlier fights (didn't catch which one) the guy caught a knuckle in the eye before dropping and getting finished

in the last fight Cruickshank had an interesting defense style of poking Makdessi in the eye, lol

also running away when clearly losing is an interesting strat
