Red to Colorado and penalty to seattle, 2-0 and little chance of help there for the caps.

looks like yes, per wiki/espn graphic, if SJ wins they get Portland.

-21 is a record that will never be broken.

I don't want ATL until it's absolutely necessary.

West seems kinda bad this year

and though i'd very much like the 'Caps to beat San Jose and then Seattle, it'd honestly be a bit of a shame if the conference final wasn't Sounders v Timbers, don't think any of the other 4 teams are much good really

out East, Atlanta knocking off TFC seems like a good value bet
and whoever has the rights will surely jizz about Villa v Schweinsteiger

Jozy stylin after scoring a meaningless MLS goal after getting knocked out of the worst qualifying group in history is the most MLS thing ever and sums up everything wrong with these frauds

For conference semis do higher seeds automatically get 2nd legs at home?

Had given up on the season more than once, not under any illusions that they are anything but a bottom half team. It's all gravy from here.

-----------
FIRST ROUND - one game only

Eastern Time:
WEDNESDAY: (unimas only)

8:30 HOU vs SKC
10:30 VAN vs SJ

THURSDAY: (unimas +)

7:00 CHI vs NYRB (FS1)
9:30 ATL vs CLB (ESPN2)

Thursday gametimes seem backward, but again, the TV networks determine all.

I believe so, and I doubt any would want to give up the advantage, especially since the 2nd leg could require extra time.

I believe the seeds stay fixed. Toronto (and similarly Portland) will play the lowest seed that makes it through the knockouts. The No. 2 seed will play the higher seeded team that advances.

Fixed the above. There was so much incorrect info about the playoff schedule circulating last night. I think this is right.
