VWFC is 2nd to last in the West in xG diff. only slightly better than Austin and bottom 5 in the league, so it's unlikely they go deep, but who knows in a variance fest.

Vela basically decided he didn't want to play this season and they sold Rossi, so that was pretty much their whole offense gone. Arango looks great, but was added late in the season. I'm sure they'll probably retool in the offseason.

There are more absences than just Americans. Tons of S. Americans, some Africans and Euros, etc.

The Union had 7 guys called up. Would be pretty stupid to have your playoffs decided based on who was less affected by intl absences. It's already kinda dumb that they keep playing thru intl breaks in the regular season.

the only thing there is how different they were in the 2nd half after changing the manager and adding gauld & white (and others)

i suspect the team they are now is closer to average
