Tickets under $400 on stubhub (399!) plus fees, so still 500 to get in the door.

If I were a dodger/astros fan, I'd pony up.

But I'm sort of neutral...not a big fan of Guggenheim greed (dodgers owners), and grew up a NYY/NYM fan...Dodgers were rivals of both in 70s/80s.

As for best post season ever, I have to go with 1986...both championship series were riveting with unbelievable games, and the WS featured an epic game 6.

As a New Yorker, watching any Boston team lose is sometimes better than winning!

In 2001, year of 9/11, I was at game 2 of the first round Yankees vs As when the game was delayed 45 min so President Bush could give a speech. I remember the hairs on the back of my neck standing up when walking in to the old stadium. Place was electric.

Loudest I’ve ever witnessed was when Holliday lost the fly ball in the sea of Dodger towels and got hit right in the nuts. Dodgers win 2-1. Felt like an actual earthquake.

The 86 series was probably the best I remember as a neutral fan. 79, 82, 91, 01, 16 also up there.

Game 6 2000 ALCS when Justice hit the 3run HR off Rhodes is the loudest I have ever heard the Stadium. I was at Game 7 in 03 and when Boone hit the HR it wasn't as loud as when Justice hit his.

Yeah I have 86 as the best WS ever as well.

85 was the first time ever a team rallied from the brink of elimination (1 inning to go) to win the WS. So you all have the Royals to thank for breaking the dam and ushering in a lot of crazy WSes.

And there was still only one out when the winning run scored in game 6 - so don't start with me BFiB. I know you all forget that fact.

Lost in the crazy ending last game is that Chokeshaw is a straight up bum in October. He proves it time and time again.

What an absolutely pathetic, gutless choke artist of the highest order.

That curve ball breaks well in April and the fastball is electric, but he'll never be a Madison Bumgarner type that GOATs it up when it matters the most.

So this is kind of depressing, and perhaps not right for this thread, but my office is about 20 blocks away from the attack in NYC today and the mood round here is not the prettiest. Least of all in my mind. I'm an immigrant here which doesn't help.

This may sound callous actually, but I cannot wait for the game to start. Can't even describe why.
