Speaking of Pirates vs Braves, anyone else see the ******* security guard take the baseball from that little kid? His father grabbed a ball in play and gave it to his son. Some ballpark guard that saw 'In the Line of Fire' too many times went running into the stands and made a huge scene, actually took the ball from the kid's hand. Oh my God what a jerkoff.

Nah, that's a bad take, considering how likely it is that his bosses set a policy of no exceptions on keeping the ball.

The team gave the kid stuff like an inning and a half later, because of the TV and social media reaction.

Meanwhile, the cops had to be called on his dumbass father. I don't know if he got arrested.

Some drunk skinny kid starts heckling the **** out of Yadi right in front of me. Next pitch Yadi crushes a home run and I, in my Yadi jersey, heckle the kid for heckling Yadi. Kid took it pretty well.

Dodger games have really grown on me.

I was raised not to interfere with balls in play and to expect to have the ball confiscated and be kicked out of the stadium if you do. I have not seen this video but don't think parents should be allowed to get away with it just by bringing a kid with them.

Did you guys see the video?

I totally agree, anyone that interferes with a ball in play should be removed from the stadium.
How it should be done: Tap the guy on the shoulder and tell him he's got to go, then if that doesn't work get the real stadium patrol.
How it shouldn't be done: Run into the stands talking into your hand like you're Secret Service and you just found John Hinckley III with an uzi at the game. In the process ripping a baseball from a kid's hand as if it's a Faberge egg stolen from the Crown Princess.

I'm more against the methods used by the cowboy security guard, that's all.

Bless his little heart. I don't think I've seen him get it out of the infield this year.

I don't disagree with that. But if you read my post it's pretty clear that calling them the worst is not a stretch by any means of the imagination.

At one point in time, we had Griffey, A-Rod, and Randy in their primes, plus another future HOFer in Edgar Martinez, on the same team and still never reached the World Series.

You could reasonably argue we had the two best hitters in MLB AND the best pitcher.
