Agree with your last point. You wouldn't see a lick of outrage if he had gotten out. No one would have brought up the math about how bunting didn't make sense in the first place. The bottom line is fanboys are pissed it was broken up with a bunt. And just discussing it for two posts is enough to tilt me to death. Arguing about a completely legal play simply because a pitcher is kicking ass. As if because it's late in the game with a potential no-no the opposing team is not allowed to try anymore.
It's the Angels job to try and get on base because that's how you score runs. It's the Tigers job to get them out. End of story. The idea that the situation changes because of a potential no-hitter is stupid as hell.
too bad Arroyo is the worst pitcher in ****ing MLB.
RETIRE PLZ. Giving up 3 runs to the AAAstros
cannot believe he hasnt been shut down yet with wood/volquez able to start. He is horrible right now. really handcuffing them the next 2 years with that contract.
ive listened to dick enberg call padres games for a total of maybe 5 minutes this year
in that time he has referred to the warning track as the warning path and been very confused by his partner's story about going to a kiss concert as a kid
that astros thing is so awesome. i'm only confident on the pronunciation of 5 of those names. where I'm from, Bourgeois would be pronounced Boor-jwah, but I doubt he's from the east coast of Canada and I've heard multiple different pronunciations of it on sportscenter from different announcers.
