the 2nd one he didnt pickup his front leg at all, and it was a changeup. if he catches a fastball good im sure he can prolly get to the 500ft mark easily.

byrdak spiking the baseball after giving up a HR was pretty cool, dunno why they brought him into the game without even warming him up though.

How long as baseball tonight pretended to know about advanced stats. Its actually really bad. I hope ESPN's NFL doesn't go to DVOA or DYAR. It just sounds stupid coming from them.

Plus it kind of ruins the segment when whichever analyst is on just lols and dismisses the stat entirely, which always seems to happen.

LMAO Tigers using infielder/outfielder Don Kelly to pitch in the 9th. This is bad.

Yeah...thats kinda what I was getting it. They don't believe in it, and I doubt players ever will. As an athlete being told that math solves you I could imagine to be pretty degrading, though I'm sure there are people on this forum that can comment on it much better than I.

I don't care that they don't trust it, I'm tuning into a highlight show, I don't care about hearing about xFip or whatever that stuff is on a highlight show.

On a pregame and straight up discussion, it should be brought up, ect. But baseball tonight is a glorified highlight show not a postgame report.

God I can only imagine the hell the ex-players would throw over DYAR and DVOA. But ESPN isn't gonna hire writers over ex-players anytime soon.

Mets probably rock Verlander score another 10+ then go on to get a total of 6 hits over the weekend to put me on life tilt.

Made the minorleaguesplits MLE calculator available on my mlsplits website if anyone cares. Jeff's is still up but could probably go down at any point so I mirrored it.
