Phillies bullpen is a mess. They had to add Bastardo to give them a lefty in case Eyre's elbow can't hold up. God knows what happens in a one run game in the ninth.

They are going to need Lee and Hamels to pitch lights out. Or win 15-12.

De La Rossa being out sounds like it is good for the Phils (the fewer lefties the better) but they hit him pretty well in the games he pitched against them this year.

So tilted about the start time of these games. Going to have to listen to both games on the radio at work. While my friends will be at the games.

Lots of if's for the rockies, but the biggest one is IF they can hit the Phillies LH starting pitching, I think they have a good shot. I forsee Ubaldo giving up 2 runs in the 1st today and then really settling down and pitching a solid 7 innings. Just depends on if the Rox can get to Lee or not.

Game 1 is close, game 2 Phillies win, game 3 will be high scoring. Then we'll see what happens for game 4.

There's a good possibility of snow showers on Saturday, and a rain/snow mix on Sunday, in Denver. If that happens, and Games 3 and 4 are postponed two days, the Rox could throw Jimenez and Cook again in Games 3 and 4 on Monday and Tuesday on normal rest. This could improve the Rox chances, but who knows.

@#$%^@$#% we couldn't get home field advantage...gonna be 70 and sunny today.

I think game one is going to be Ubaldo Jimenez's coming out party. He's had an excellent season and has gone under the radar pitching in Colorado this year.
