But if Girardi had done what he should have and put Robertson in the 7th inning to begin with, I would have liked the Yankees chances better, and I wouldn't be questioning Girardi. Can someone explain how Alex Rodriguez got pinch run for? Seems really dumb, he's got like 300 career steals and caught 70 times or whatever... And doesn't seem like this part of his game has dropped off or anything. Is the logic he may be good at stealing bases, but he lacks the speed to go from first to home on certain hits?

It hurts my head trying to think how this move could possibly be justified in the postseason.
