I wanted to make sure to exclude relievers for this question, and that seemed like an appropriately high number to leave out everybody but the elite pitchers that limit baserunners

Our next incorrect is a good young pitcher who had his season cut short with arm trouble. Carlos Carrasco had a fine year, but also does not qualify for this question with 145 IP. He finished with a nice 1.15 WHIP, but also would have been incorrect had he qualified.

Our next incorrect had something of a nightmarish season after such a strong season in 2015. Sonny Gray got rocked to the tune of a 1.50 WHIP in his 117 IP this season.

Our last would-be 2 point incorrect is one that saddens us all. Jose Fernandez will probably be the first person to win the Cy Young award posthumously, and he almost made it for this question. He pitched to a 1.12 WHIP in 182.1 innings this season.

Now we're down to the would-be aces. Dallas Keuchel did not impress in his reigning Cy Young season, as he had a 1.29 WHIP in 168 IP.

Been kicking around the idea of running an NBA Peehs. Terrible idea?

Our next incorrect had a season that just quite doesn't live up to his lofty standards. David Price got off to a rough start, but settled into another 200IP 200K season. He pitched to a 1.20 WHIP in 230 IP.

I was saving this for the last reveal, but I was going to announce that I'd run an NBA Peehs contest at the end of this.

If you really want to do it though you're more than welcome! I could give you feedback on some of the questions I've been thinking about

Our next incorrect had a rough season cut short by injury. Matt Harvey posted a 1.47 WHIP in 92.2 IP this year.

Our next incorrect is another pitcher who just got extended for all the monies this season. Stephen Strasburg is another guy that almost made it, as he had a 1.10 WHIP, but in 147.2 innings.

Nope, have at it. Figured it was a bad idea for me to do, but someone ought to haha. I wrote out a bunch of questions a couple weeks ago if you're interested, though.

Yeah, definitely send me those question ideas.

Statistics for basketball makes trying to make a PEEHS game a glorified futures contest, and I wanted the questions to be more interesting than just X points/rebounds/assists/3PM whatever by Y date.

I was thinking about someone to score 20+ on Christmas, name a playoff seeded team 5-8 in either conference, best Drtg/100 possessions, stuff like that

What I had was a mix of those types. Will PM you. Promise not to be offended if you use 0 of the ideas.

Our final incorrect would have been quite the facemelter from early in the spring. Steven Matz didn't quite qualify, but had a pretty good season. He pitched to a 1.21 WHIP in 132.1 innings.

This question's Sheep was played by 3 of you. Corey Kluber already has a Cy Young award on his resume, and he had a great year for the first place Indians. He pitched to a 1.06 WHIP in 215 innings.

Our next corrects are a quartet of 2-point answers. Chris Sale had another dominant season, and I hope he gets more Cy Young consideration, because he's been a top-3 AL pitcher for some time now. He pitched to a 1.04 WHIP in 226.2 innings

Our final 2-point correct leads all qualified pitchers in WHIP. Max Scherzer had another fantastic year, pitching a 0.97 WHIP in 228.1 innings. Absolutely unbelievable that that was best in MLB, and Kershaw was 0.25 better in a significant sample.
