Would've drove in Gonzalez and Hudson, imo.

This has been a really good game.

Better with an NL walkoff.

for sure, but far more important is the fact that AL teams have to bench one of their starters in NL Parks, lowering the percentage of "team talent" they get to use for that game.

that's pretty much the exact complement of NL teams having to bat a bench player who normally isn't good enough to start in AL parks and i would expect those two disadvantages to cancel each other out.

i think the NL has the advantage with the minor factors like pitchers batting and manager experience and stuff.

These guys continue to stand in their normal stance with the same grip against Rivera and hit .100. You back up two inches, choke up two inches, and you might hit .200.

Mo just soulcrushed Hawpe.

Granderson's MVP barring NL miracle, yeah.

btw, like someone pointed our earlier, the odds of winning 12 of 13 flips are pretty ****in slim

maybe it's just mental toughness

or maybe the red sox and yankees offer a secret 20k bonus to every player on the al roster for winning

cash is cash

This game was sick variance going towards the AL.

I would like to run 1000 simulations of papelbon pitching like that and see their average RPI.

Wow, Crawford?

He deserves it I guess. Hawpe's ball was better hit than Granderson's.
