Anyway, Aguero should be starting, don’t know why he isn’t. Class from messi though.
It’s the fps of ‘aguero screws the system’. It’s just garbage thinking. Banega, Messi, Aguero and hope for the best with the other 8.

Bad beat that Giroud didn't have a yellow in the group stages, that late yellow would have kept him out of the quarters.

The guy slid in with two feet and no hope of getting the ball and the only yellows were the guy kicking the ball at the guy on the ground and Giroud for protesting afterward.

Lost in all of the excitement is that France's defense is nothing to be proud of. Eventually they'll run into someone competent and that's gonna be a problem.

We always think they should be better with a more pacey player instead, but we're at over 4 years of France failing and looking worse every time they bench him

Should've switched the scheduling for today. Uruguay vs Portugal will be a massive letdown between two terrible teams.

Huh? They allowed no goals from open play in the group stages and no shots from inside the area until the 80th today.

If we're lucky we might get a 1-0 result!

Anyway aguero or not, france in total control - be interesting how they compete against a good side - if they match up with brazil wonder if they have an edge in midfield and whether brazil would bring in fernandinho, perhaps sacrifice someone up top.

Tbf. I kind of thought the same about the France game, but as soon as Rojo shoved Mbappe in the back I knew we were in for a show

Well today Argentina had more possession but France had the control. It was actually a very interesting midfield dynamic. I think France still have the slightly better players in that matchup but probably would not have the possession again.

GOATs win stuff for their countries, the others are mere mortals. Messi will go down as a disappointment in Argentina's history, as he should.

Mbappe is the truth tho, what a beast
