0 – Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo have never scored in the knockout stages of the World Cup; between both of them, they accumulated 1.090 minutes without scoring (666 Messi, 424 Ronaldo). Drought.

"80-85%" and "france 3-0" are hilarious and quite obviously have watched 0 france. they stink. mendy is also out so bozo hernandez will be running around falling down all match

hope tina moves thru just so i dont have to watch another dreadful performance from france while being infuriated that they have so much talent on the pitch
Mendy isn't fit

How many World cups have you watched? winning and playing beautiful football are two different things. Just look at Belgium two years ago, they top the hype train and get busted by ****in Wales, was certainly entertaining.

It feels like a good idea to smash the under on both games. at least one will go to pens

I'm guessing France will lineup like they did in the 2nd game?

Yeah every journalist expecting the lineup against Peru but no one is a 100% either, there was no full collective training today

their best strat would be to let Messi run things while he does lines with Maradona or something

this is the new excuse, like he doesn't run things at the NT since forever, they've found a new scapegoat. all you hear from Argentina's 8 coaches since Messi plays there is that he needs to be happy, they need to build a team around him, they need to find the perfect system and players for Messi yada yada yada. do you think he just sits there and doesn't say a word? nobody asks him anything? he's been making the list of players all this time, he has a major say in what goes on around there. lol at benching Dybala and leaving Icardi at home because Messi says so. But they gotta start "el jefecito" Mascherano roflcopter. shut your whore mouth and play with whoever if you think you're that good.

Can't blame ARG for focusing on themselves right now

Pavard isn't sexy but he's no nonsense and solid, M'Bappé shouldn't have to put in a huge shift defensively. Plus Sidibé is still banged up, was apparent in his game against Denmark.

Fekir scored points in group stages, Deschamps noticed it 100% of the time. Griezmann too i guess, he can't afford a bad game tomorrow if he starts.

France are better than Argentina, so Argentina.

Although it doesn't really matter as we'll probably get knocked out on penalties before we need to face either.

France 2-1
Uruguay 2-1

Although get the feeling that France could not show up again and it could well be pens.

Makes no difference. Not on our side of the draw so nothing to gain either way. Root for what you bet on or just a good game and pens

Despite a sample of >1000 games between them, this is the day where we get to judge who is better : Messi or Ronaldo
