Van De Velde's meltdown was a 10 while Scott's was an 8 or so imo

I really hope Phil wears red to honor Tiger today. Not only would it be an all-time elite troll, but he would surely win the Masters.

He said he lost 25 pounds by cutting carbs, sugar (and fat!? - can't remember) out of his diet. Also cut his hair. Basically he had a brand image since 2011, the pudgy guy with mop hair and now he just looks like Bill Haas, robopro v2.0. Kinda weird. But I guess he's trying to look better for the ladies now.

so, so true.. even with the limited sample size of his young career

bless his heart.. fun to watch.. total goddess wife

but there's an intangible cloak of inevitable fail around him in majors.. if you can't see it.. It's like Shining.. some have the shine.. some don't errr

Why is Spieth getting **** for talking to his ball when almost every pro does it? Phil and Tiger do it. Rory does it. I just saw Kuchar say "bite. bite. bite." to his ball on 12 and Ryan Palmer said "get up." Its not at all unique to Spieth. Most pros do it while the ball is in the air, but I never recall people complaining about anyone else.

People think Spieth overdoes it because it's basically on 95% of his approaches but whatever. When you're good folks always gonna look for things to pick at when they aren't a fan. It's sports.

This should be completely ****ing obvious, but it's the fact that he does it on nearly every single shot, much more than others. And he talks to the ball even on shots that are obviously very good, not just borderline ones. Plus, the fact that he's winning and people look for any reason to hate. Personally I don't give a ****, it doesn't bother me at all.

I watch chunks of basically every tournament every week. I can assure you he does it way more than other guys. And he does it on shots that are pure. Begging "get up" on a ball you immediately know you caught a bit fat is pretty fine. But begging "SIT!" when you hit it 10 feet below the hole on 12 is just really dumb (it was nowhere near coming up short or spinning off the green. Or, of course, being long.). If you can't understand why then I'm not sure what to tell you.

But for those who never watch golf but for 4 times a year, I will warn the Spieth haters that he may kick it into overdrive today on the putting greens. He is known to do this thing with his hand if he's putting downhill and the ball rolls by, he holds his hand out flat and sort of waves it up and down as if he's telling a dog to stay or something. He might even throw some knee bend into it. It will assuredly rustle the hell out of people if it happens. Just wait. He's even thrown in a disgusted "STOP...ROLLING." I sort of hope it happens today to see the fanboiz go into high gear in defense.

Great player and true American. I love the kid and he's 21 and even said he needs to work on the talking so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt but if you can't understand why people hate that **** then lol @ u.
