Nhl has a huge revenue disparity between teams. Top 3 or 4 (but especially Toronto) dominate league revenues. Better to even that up. Better for existing franchise health and labor peace.
I wouldn't abolish the salary floor, but teams shouldn't have cap space to burn. It miss-allocates salary to players that don't deserve it.

when you're a scumbag philly and break somebody's leg on a dirt bag move, you are safe at second automatically. touching the base is not required and is in fact frowned upon.

Football overall: 3 downs. No going for it on 4th down. You have to punt or kick if you miss on 3rd down.

Also, make all laterals and passes that don't cross the line of scrimmage be considered a backwards pass. So on those bubble screens, the receiver better catch the ball or it's a fumble.

Baseball: reduce the regular season games down to 0. Put another football season in it's place.

Basketball: make any shot made from half court or further back 4 points. We have an easy line marker for that. Also make it a technical on the shooter if he leans into a defender with the defender in the air. It's the defender's space; he is already there.

As commissioner of the NCAA I would do away with the selection committee for the playoff. The Rose, Sugar,Fiesta and Orange bowl games will be played on New Year's day with their traditional conference affiliations. The winners of those 4 games are the playoff teams. The power 5 conferences all have tie ins to the major bowl games so the conference championship games would become defacto playoff games. Everything would be settled on the field.

Ncaa football, no more selections.

Nba, play each team once. 30 games. Give me back my sonics. Only 4 teams each to the playoffs. Playoffs is win by two, until game 7. That is, you lose game 1 and 2, youre gone. You lose any two games in a row, youre gone. You lose game 7, you're gone. Tanking is punishable by death. No more 1 and done. Reduce quarters to 8 mins. Hand checks are legal. Defenders allowed to defend.

Mls, promotion relegation

Hockey, more black guys
