There were no Englishmen in Everton's starting 11 until Phil Neville came on at halftime.

The Spanish and Italian police are awful at controlling crowds.

They just start hitting people for no reason what so ever half the time. Then the crowd start throwing their pints over them and it all kicks off. It appears like it's during the day and doesn't look like there is much trouble with Madrid fans either so, feck knows what actually started it.

The camera goes all over the shop and out of focus every now and then and it just goes to them hitting people with their batons then another one joining it.

West Ham were really really really really bad

Will be interesting to see what kind of team Fergie picks tonight. With our ridiculous injury situation in defence, I can't imagine Rio or Evans being risked, so a defence of Vermijl - Keane - Wootton - Büttner looks likely, unless he decides to play Fletcher at RB. Hopefully we get to see Powell and Henriquez play too.

Last night couldn't have gone much better, game was over after 8 minutes.

We got to see Piazon for 90 minutes, Romeu and Moses got their first starts of the season (Moses bagging himself a goal), Marin looked lively when he came on and we got to see ~30 minutes of Oscar in the "2".

Highlight of the evening though was Azpilicueta, looked to have great defensive instincts and looked good getting forward as well. Ivanovic will have a real battle on his hands here which can only be a good thing.

My only real gripes about last night was i'd have liked to have seen Blackman in goal and Bamford on the bench.

Wolves were very poor and rested almost all of their usual X1, had a lad in midfield called David Davis who looked quite tidy though.
