Medel played a good game against Barca, saved the game in the last minute.
Sanchez keeps owning in the serie A. I think he should stay in Udinese if they qualify for the champions league, Udinese is such an exciting side, I hope they qualify for the champions league and dont sell so I can have a team to actively root for.

Good week for chileans imo.

heh nice shot from Manu del Moral scoring his third goal tonight. Getafe up 2-1 now with 5 min left against Athletic.

Ha, just checked livescore. Pretty weird night for him.

wow Athletic equalizes in the 93rd minute. At first I thought it was their goalkeeper who scored.

2-2 FT!!!!1

Porto are winning away to Uniao Leiria 0-1. i've had the game on in the background but paid approx 0% attention to it.

Porto so gross this year. Nice job they have done after having to completely rebuild and struggling for a bit.

5th best team in Europe and better than Arsenal brah, according to the latest euroclubindex rankings anyway...

A blow of course but hopefully for Milan he can come back rejuvenated after (it looks like atm) a much needed rest.

Yeah Zlatan recharge those batteries and come back to claim your 5th league title in a row.

Ok, 8th time in a row in which Zlatans team has finished top of the table. With 5 different teams in 3 different leagues. :P

Yeah wasn't sure whether he can claim them or not, don't think he can.

Still a hell of a run with/without them.

Hummels signing untill 2014 is huge, probably the best defender in the Bundesliga right now.
Basically we've signed everyone mid-long term and the only player I can see leaving would be Barrios (Spanish team+20 million+ = it'll be tough to keep him)
03-15-2011 , 05:57 PM
Meant to post about that but forgot, the most important thing is that we got rid of the buyout clause.

Other news today was that Dede will leave us in the summer. While he was very good for us over years it doesn't really bother me, we just need to sign someone for LB cover.

A tumour in Eric Abidal’s liver has been detected and the player will be operated on this Friday.

Oh boy

Time for Puyol to get better now.

You sound very sympathetic lol.

Hope he recovers well. Unusually rare to hear of footballers suffering from such things.

I'm possibly just underestimating how serious this is for Abidal. I've got it in my head he'll have surgery, get it removed, it will be nothing, and he'll be back in a month or two.

It's been reported Abidal's op is done very often and tumor benign. And that he'll return in 5-6 weeks.Thats what we all want

Magath sacked
I don't remember many CL (surprise) quarterfinalists who did this and as long as they don't explain this, I will keep thinking this is an awful decision.
So I guess in 1 or 2 years, they will fire the next coach again, just like they did with Rangnick (best point average ever) and Slomka (CL quarterfinalist as well, at least they still let him play the QF...).
I guess, these guys wouldn't have let Klopp continue working too when he was in trouble during his first season. At Dortmund you can now see what happens when you are not like that.
