LOL SPL adminstrators!

i don't even know where to begin with this, it's a bad idea with dumbass reasoning behind it.

best i can hope is that this is nothing but a wind-up on the Old Firm.

What a lot of pish!

Playoff to win a league is just stupid.

hyundai a-league says hi....

And i know we dont count....

It's the stupidest thing in the world imo.

Team goes undefeated through-out the season, win all the big games, hammer everyone, play the best football win by a huge gap etc

Play off variance comes into play and they get beat in a game they should have won and don't win anything. Lot of bull **** imo

If your top of the league after 38 games (or however many) and everyones played an equal amount of games, your the deserved champions.

What an absolutely terrible idea. Maybe if those clubs like Hearts got their ****ing act together they could win the SPL. No lets play off instead. Jokers.

Speaking of the A-League, the top scorer from the Finnish league Juho Makela just joined Sydney FC.

Germans: How reliable is Bild? They are apparently saying Neuer to Bayern is only a matter of time which is making me a sad panda.

Bild is basically the German Sun.

Unirea Urziceni, champions two years ago, runners-up last season, moves to Chiajna, a small town just outside Bucharest

Unirea's owner, Bucsaru, gave up 50% of the club, with the other 50% to be sold next summer. money comes from Chiajna's local council!

Chiajna had already a team in the second division, called Concordia. the new team will be called Unirea Chiajna

Unirea have at the moment only 9 players left, the team will be completed with the players from the second division.

The things you learn on twitter.

How could anyone be surprised if the best German goalkeeper ended up at Bayern?

I mean top German players joining Bayern is one of the natural progressions in life lol.

Is that the team Rangers played in the CL?
12-21-2010 , 12:13 PM
is there any sort of tension between Bayern and the rest of the country's teams, because i gather that Bayern (the state) is somewhat culturally distinct from the rest of the country, or does this distinction not really enter into football culture?

Yes. They were in last years CL group stages with Rangers, Sevilla and Stuttgart and finished 3rd in the group.

I think the only tension comes from Bayern being by far the most successful team in Germany.

OK so I really wanna go through with my plan to go to Dortmund – Schalke on February 4th. Surfing around the internet, I'm reading more and more that it's impossible to get tickets for this match. Could the Dortmund supporters ITT please confirm/deny these rumours?

What do you guys think my best shot is at getting tickets; pre-sale starts January 10th (we would like block 34): online ticketshop, by phone (my German isn't great), …?

Also, what does the phrase "Vereinsmitglieder ab 07.01.11" mean:
04.02.11 20:30 BVB - FC Schalke 04 10.01.11 Vereinsmitglieder ab 07.01.11

Does this mean that 'members' (season pass holders? …) get an early shot at tickets? If so, mayyyyybe the Dortmund fans could help me out (this is probably a long shot)?

Thanks in advance, I'm so stoked to go right now so I really want to make it happen

Bilbao are one of the teams in Spain that actually go into a game with Barca thinking they can get a result. Alot of others just turn up to get the heavy defeat out of the way.

Nearly always give Barca a really tough game which is good to see.
