Mark May: ZOMG ***** AMIRITE?

Lou Holtz: I crazy grandpa. Especially when he's up past his bedtime. Did you see him last night after "the final verdict"? Cussin up a storm!

Craig James: still on the SMU take imo

Doug Flutie: the anchor (whoever it happens to be) always tries to get him to "break down every hail mary and compare it to "the" hail mary.

Robert Smith: totally generic name for a totally generic analyst.

Jesse Palmer: kirk wannabe.

Trevor Matich: I think they're trying to cash in on the alarming lack of on-air Trev action lately. I sort of like the way this guy thinks, but I can't stand the way he talks.

Trev Alberts: FREE TREV IMO

Odds that Jesse Palmer is laying the wood to Wendi Nix? Gotta be at least 50/50.

Jessie Palmer can't even dress himself. I was so happy to hear him getting his chops busted thursday night for that short ass tie he wore last week.

IIRC, Lou Holtz hasn't picked Notre Dame to lose a game in 2007 or 2008 so far.

Everyone else = the suck.

I absolutely hate Kirk Herbstreit:

And lol @ Trev Alberts being a talking head. One of the biggest draft busts in NFL History. Guess if you're breathing and played a snap of football, you're a lock to be a ESPN talking head.

What was it about pads back in the day that made everyone look like they were playing Pee-Wee football?

This thread is missing love for Reece Davis, who isn't really an analyst but actually has better opinions than Lou or May and kinda rules.

Herbstreit is pimp, so is Corso. Corso was roommates with Burt Reynolds at FSU and used to bang all the girls that BR would pick up for him.

lets talk colour guys:

I HATE Craig James. Apparently there is a "Craig James School of Broadcasting", wtf ironic since he's so terrible. Every Thursday I tune in hoping he's been fired.

Todd Blackledge is good though.

Todd Blackledge is good, why they have to pair him with Mike Patrick I don't know. Him and Rob Stone are the only two guys who have ever been able to pull off one of those little mid-game puff pieces without me feeling embarrassed for him, plus he's not bad during the games either. They should definitely do whatever it takes for him to replace Craig James on Thursday nights, he's just awful.

OK, we need a separate thread for in-game talent.

Craig James is horrible, totally agree. He's like a used car salesman.

I forgot to give props to Desmond Howard. Only problem with him is that he's too happy and positive all the ****ing time. I hate people like that.

Speaking of Jesse's ties, did you see that ****ing thing he was wearing on College Football Live tonight? Holy ****, it was HUGE.

You realize its because Palmer was with some perfect 10 model before going to work and he all he has to choose from are the clip-on's that were left over at her house from some other dude. Nothing to with Palmer's dressing ability IMO.

I think it's the jerseys. The sleeves are so much longer than what they wear now.

Back when Corso Coached Indiana, they kicked a FG on the opening possession to take a 3-0 lead on OSU and he had someone take a picture of the scoreboard while they were ahead. Apparently he actually hung the picture in his office later too, not the least bit fazed by the fact that lost by several scores.

I want Lou Holtz on Baseball Tonight and NBA Tonight too.
Kind of like how tuq wants Bela Karoli to do Monday Night Football.

Actually........Lou and Bela together would be the greatest announcing duo of all time!!
