I wonder if they have the same thing for Harris.

The best SEC team they'd definitely be a favorite over is Vanderbilt.
Not Alabama, Florida, Texas A&M, LSU, Georgia. South Carolina for sure. Florida, Texas A&M, LSU it would be very close. LOL @ thinking not being favored over Miss St, unless you think Vandy is better.

James Franklin's ballot is absurd.

Also, I'll spam this here too.

Vandy is the 7th best SEC team, and should still only be something like +3 against OSU on a neutral field.

They're the only team in Sagarin's top 20 who managed not to play any other teams in the top 20. That's an accomplishment, right?

See, you need to use power rankings to judge accomplishments. Nebraska, Wisconsin, Michigan State, Michigan all would meet top 20 of power rankings. It's not quite as elite as losing to Northwestern, but is better than beating Oklahoma.

Betting market analysis is highly flawed in that it is backward looking and not forward looking. SC without Lattimore is a different team.

Sagarin has his own flaws. I'd feel pretty comfortable against South Carolina and reasonably comfortable against LSU. Florida would also be a team that I would feel is pretty close to even. A&M we match up with very poorly, so I wouldn't want any piece of that. Georgia and Alabama definitely better.

wow this argument is stupid. Whether it's five or six, the point is that tOSU sucks and it's hilarious that they didn't self-ban last year and thank god because the BCS is a big enough joke already this year.

SC sans Lattimore beat Clemson, who is also ranked higher than tOSU in BMA and Predictor. South Carolina is still currently definitely a top-15 team while tOSU is a fringe top-15 team. And I'll take a little bit of joy in pointing out that your own YPP rankings have six SEC teams above tOSU.

This isn't a debate I feel so strongly about that I'll keep arguing till one of us gets tires. I just wanted to point out that "lol 6 SEC teams" isn't laughable. It's probably true. All the stats point one way, but you're arguing the other way, and the only reason I can think of is you just really, really want it to be that way.

Not a single one of those teams would be a legit top 20 in power ranking. Not one.

You don't judge this season's power rankings by all-time accomplishments or reputation. And this year, the Big10 is terrible.

Well, since neither of you need seasonal, it'll probably come down to who drives faster vs who's willing to plop down more on tires as an up-front investment. I see Tom driving like a little old lady and definitely going with the better long-term investment. Also, he doesn't bet football, so budgetting for a roll isn't a factor. You seem more of the tailgating and impulsive hooker-cruising type who tends to cut a few corners to free up a little cash. I'd think you'd lose this stare-down based on casual reads, but of course the wildcard (when you last bought tires) could make that all irrelevant.

Interested to know how close to the mark I am here. I can judge for myself if you'll both answer one question, please; What kind of car do you drive?

Oh, and don't take the hooker thing as an insult. I love hookers.

Oh, also Tom comes from Ohio where everyone is dull whereas Timotheeeee is southern where everyone is either crazy or acting that way to fit in. Is rough on the tires.

So you are saying all but 2 teams in the SEC suck?
Also, banning last year has no guarantee that banning this year doesn't happen anyway. I'd be shocked if it would have made any difference.

I would give you a link to a reputable power ranking site, but I'm not allowed. Big Ten garbage beat your 7th best team.

That was the best win by a Big10 team all year.
