Belgium doesn't look like humiliating anyone with their play so far and USA doesn't look likely to get humiliated by anyone either. This is going to be a tight game I think. Belgium is much better suited to playing on the counter than they are controlling games, I can see them struggling to break USA down.

I agree. Just feels like a coin flip where the teams both have their chances and one bounce of the ball or blow of the whistle will decide it. My only hunch on the game is that both teams will play their best match so far and that it will be a thriller.

My French teacher in high school was Belgian and definitely gave off the "I was pretty hot when I was younger" vibe. Also, she had a fondness for African American military men so there's a non-zero chance she produces a future USMNT player.

Because of those fond memories, I hope Belgian fans have a great time at the game and don't take their loss too hard.

Not sure why it matters, even if you think the ref will be mad for 2010 if we eliminated them on the Donovan goal - we didn't. They would've had to score 3 on us ifirc.
