Yeah I'm the same way. It's very exciting and drama filled and super tense, so it's got that going for it.

But at the end of the day it's a really silly way to decide the winner of a game. Just way too high variance and not enough like the regular sport.

Yea but what else should they do? Imagine a golden goal system with no penalties ever.. Would be pretty hilarious to see after 3 hours tho.

The knockout round is the playoffs. PK's are super variance on-top of regular single elimination variance.
