Your forward is Jozy Altidore. You didn't miss much.

Not really. Imagine they played USA in the KO stage. How worried do you think they would be?

Germany weren't up for it. Didn't seem prepared for Ghana's onslaught which is a bit silly that Ghana really needed a result here. There's a certain carelessness about the team, a tendency to assume things will fall in their place simply on merit of being the more talented side.

Lahm's pass ahead of the 1-2 was a good example of such carelessness. Mertesacker's defensive reaction was almost absent-minded - he seemed to initially assume there was a Ghana player in the middle..when there clearly wasn't which he would have had to see as well.

Altidore is like Robben but faster. Tough loss imo.

It played a big part in the game and limited the USA#1 attack the rest of the way. For one, his stand up / holding game was sorely missed (and will be missed tomorrow ... but GOATKlinsmann will have a game plan to make the best of the situation).

Spoiler:
LOL UEFA

relatively worried, that's why teams don't play around in the knockout stage, literally everyone can beat anyone in one game

the amount of eurotards posting about USA#1 completely unprovoked just shows how shook they are
06-21-2014 , 05:41 PM
Shame Altidore ramped his wim up to a 13. Too much passion gets the best of Americans sometimes.

they could literally stand there for 90 minutes and it would be 100% the right play.

not only is it the right play from the perspective of both advancing, but you'd also guarantee that nobody is injured.
No thats just dumb
06-21-2014 , 05:49 PM
I am so thankful that Ghana was nice enough to not be winning for a single second against USA#1

Six points would be a bit of a letdown at this point for the us. Portugal clearly the worst team in the group. Germany vulnerable but not sure if the us will care enough to get the full 9 points.
