lol at people preemptively whining about the refs, as if Germany as been crushing opponents left and right. It will, almost assuredly, be a close game

To the surprise of no one, the focus here was more on the ref and the "diving" part of the BRA-COL match instead of the solid WIM from Brazil and stuff like Hulk actually looking somewhat decent again. Combined with the home field advantage from the crowd etc, this is in no way a slam dunk for Ze Germans, despite them having the better XI (with Neymar and T Silva out). IIRC (which I do), the vast majority predicted an easy COL victory too.

I'll be rooting for (a) Brazil (- Argentina final), but have nothing against the Germans. Will definitely be rooting for them, if they end up facing the Netherlands.
