It wasn't USA/Australia good, but it was pretty riveting. Way better than some of the other games where one or both teams are just lolbad.

I watch 2-3 games a week. US/Aus was wayyy better. this was boring. if it was knockout stage that would be fine but given the circumstance and Nigeria upcoming the soccer wasn't quite good enough

Yeah there wasn't much to like. Defenses were solid shape wise but weren't tested by much. Lots of wasted possession. Terrible balls in the final third. Poorly weighted passes. Panic from midfielders. Add in some complaining and you have a pretty boring match.

I watch enough soccer to know that it's very entertaining but that was one of the most boring matches I've seen in a while. I wouldn't say that I was bored but almost every game I watch will interest me more than that match did. But that's JMO.

I do think the second half was better fwiw.
