Mercedes at least smart enough to give immediate team orders to Bottas. Race would have been much different if Ferrari had done the same to Raikonnen. Red Bull decision to dump Renault looks better every race.

From what I've seen/heard the rules prohibit doing something like to go into the pits, but don't prohibit doing it to avoid going into the pits. He's been cleared now with no punishment.

Edit: Apparently he had "clearly broken the rules" but only received a reprimand because of the circumstances (chaotic because of rain, safety car, didn't endanger any other drivers).

doesnt fit their MO at all (bring young drivers through who represent the overall brand by embodying youth vibrancy excitement blah blah), also now that danny has gone they have a clear undisputed #1 driver who also happens to be the most popular and marketable person on the grid. doubt they wanna **** with that. who knows through, maybe they'll make an exception due to lolonso's talent

honda were prepared to pay all of lolonso's salary at mclaren, maybe they still have a hardon for him

not sure i could contain my ribs if his relentless honda bashing last year costs him a go at RB
