he doesn't even want to sit and negotiate a new deal, he wants to play more, which won't happen because he's not good enough for a top team. RM won't sell him to Barcelona unfortunately, unless they pay us something ridiculous, and that's about 60m for him.

What I read is that Barça wanted to sign him at the end of his contract, after whatever Real decides to do with him until then, probably a loan

oh yeah I read that. wish RM would just say f u and let him train alone for a year, but that won't happen. he has always been a pain in the ass at RM and he's super overrated. there's a reason he didn't play that much with Ancelotti, Benitez or Zidane.

The return of the Lolverkusen.

Can't wait until we screw up against Freiburg again tomorrow, because we tend to be too dumb to win against them for no reason.

It's POKALZEIT.

DFB-Pokal, Round of 16, Tuesday matches:

18:30 CET: Hamburger SV (I) - 1. FC Köln (I)

Hamburg has been struggling in the league, just like in 13/14 and 14/15, when they avoided relegation by the thinnest of margins. The club also is in permanent shambles due to questionable managing decisions. They got to the third round by beating 4th league Zwickau (1-0) and 3rd league Halle (4-0), so Köln will be the first real test.

Köln is pretty much the exact opposite nowadays, a solidly run mid-to-top-half club eyeing European football this season. Htey had the lowest-ranked opponent in the first half, beating 6th tier BFC Preußen 7-0 before edging Hoffenheim 2-1 a.e.t. in the second round. With Hamburg having the home advantage, this is gonna be a close one, Bet365 has it as dead-even.

18:30 CET: Astoria Walldorf (IV) - Arminia Bielefeld (II)

Walldorf's league season has been pretty average, as they sit in 10th of 19 in the south-western regional league. Both promotion and relegation are relatively unlikely at this point, so a cup adventure might just be the right thing to pursue: They beat 2nd league Bochum 4-3 a.e.t. in the, and Darmstadt by 1-0 in the second round, so beating their next opponent Bielefeld looks like a realistic target.

Bielefeld has been going up and down between 2nd and 3rd tier football for the last six years, and are currently once again sitting in a relegation spot in the 2. Bundesliga. For them, a cup run might be a nice distraction from the league struggle, and a win against a 4th league team should be expected. The got here by beating 4th tier RW Essen on penalties (5-4) and winning in Dresden (1-0).

Odds: 1X2: 5.5 - 3.8 - 1.65, to qualify: 3.6 - 1.36

20:45 CET: FC Bayern München (I) - VfL Wolfsburg (I), live on ARD.

Despite still being in all competitions, and leading the league by four points, the mood at Bayern isn't all that good, after a once again uninspiring performance and 1-1 draw against Schalke. Luckily their BVB minions helped them out once again, beating their closest competitor Leipzig, so their lead still increased. In the cup, it has been smooth sailing so far, with 5-0 and 3-1 victory against 4th-tier Jena and fellow league member Augsburg.

Once upon a time, Wolfsburg nearly knocked out Real Madrid in the Champions League. *Checks if this was 2015 or earlier* Holy hell, that was not even 10 months ago.
Since then, pretty much everything has gone to ****, with them currently sitting in 14th, just three points off relegation. Their coach Dieter Hecking was sacked last October (he's now at Gladbach). They got here by beating FSV Frankfurt (3rd tier) 2-1 and 2nd-tier Heidenheim, 1-0.

Obviously Bayern is the huge favorite going into this:
1X2: 1.19 - 8.60 - 18.00, To qualify: 1.07 - 9.50

20:45 CET: SpVgg Greuther Fürth (II) - Borussia Mönchengladbach (I)

Ever since losing the relegation play-off to Hamburg in 2014, Fürth has struggled to get back to old results. In the 14/15 season, they struggled to even hold their spot in the 2. Bundesliga, and since have been hovering in midfield (11th this season, currently). So far, they beat Eintracht Norderstedt (4th tier) 4-1 and upset Mainz by two late goals to win 2-1 in the second round.

Gladbach was a bit unlucky in the UCL draw, and got tossed into the Group of Death together with Barca, City and Celtic, and at least finished 3rd to continue in the Europa League. Their league form has been Sevilla-esque, with just 5 points out of 9 away games, and still-not-great 18 out of 10 home games. They beat fourth-league Drochtersen/Assel 1-0 before they knocked out Stuttgart 2-0.

Odds: 1X2: 5.50 - 4.08 - 1.72, to qualify: 3.75 - 1.36

Fun Fact: Teams will be able to make a 4th substitution should the game go to extra time.

Cheers FC, may have a bit of Waldorf, while Bielefeld weren't complete hot garbage when I saw them at Braunschweig, they weren't exactly good. Coincidence that DSC are the opponents when I watch Glubb next month
