the Russian fans are so incredibly ugly, and what's up with all the shirtless hairy dudes?

I'm shocked at how completely the Russians outplayed the Dutch, I'm hoping that Spain win cuz Spain/Russia should be another intense and fast paced match. But all the players they're gonna miss next round is certainly gonna hurt.

They were the poor team on most parts of the pitch, VDS kept them in it, in the first half and should have lost by 2 goals in normal time.

the thing about russia that impressed me the most was their 1v1 ability running at the goal. they repeatedly torched dutch defenders to make crosses.

and the cross on the 2nd goal was just phenomenal.

fan shots were tilting me so much. i went to wc2006 and saw so many beautiful women, its so dumb the network is only showing men. esp in the sweden games.

Really great game to watch, I think Russia definitely deserved this win, they played far better than the Dutch this match.

Did anyone keep track of how many yellow cards Russia got? Looks like they'll be missing some players for their next match, hopefully no one crucial.

nh Russia. I'm happy about this result for several reasons:

- Best team on the night won
- Russia are so good to watch and play with heart so deserved the win
- Russia are a better matchup for Spain than Netherlands would have been I think, and I have money on Spain to win the cup.

I thought the same thing, he looked like he was definitely way offside. I guess it doesn't matter much though.

Kid had a stellar game and just schooled Holland's back 4 (who were atrocioussssssss).

Was rooting for Holland but they didn't deserve to go through. Russia pretty much had the best of this one.

I would like to know the reason why Orange played today like they did.

We know our defense isnt the best but also our midfield was nowhere to be seen.

Was it because of Robben?

Or did old Guus tactical leveled us?

The constant pressure and threat he poses on the other team, sorta makes him our best defender, which isn't really a compliment when u look at how bad Oeijer and Mathjisen are.

Doubt Wenger will sign Arshavin, he has had a few opps and never taken them, he was raving about him 4 years ago, so it wouldve hapened by now....I wish he would though!!

I hear Everton are interested, he is far too good for them.

Very real prospect of a Russia - Germany final, theyll be showing 'Enemy at the Gates' on the big screen beforehand!

something to do with the defense being awful and even with robben it would still be awful. Russia could have easily scored 5+ tonight.
