I could actually go in the ROONEY top and ask the girls if they would like a shag...

Ashers - William Plunkett?

Sweet heavens. West Ham will supposedly be appointing Wally Downes, Paolo Di Canio (facepalm.jpg) and Steve Lomas on the coaching side, with Petrovic heading off to Japan. Grant may be moving upstairs.

OT.

Interesting result in my League. What makes this sweeter is that Madron is the Leeds of the Mining League.

You're not good enough.

They should sign Dzeko instead imo. League is there for the taking and a little more box presence would be A++ for them.

hahaha 55-0, so will you get the chance to play against those losers?

there should be a rule in place were the score is reported at no more than 5 goals too the good for one team to save the others from humiliation, the same as kids football.

Adebayor would be more than good enough to play in PL for City if only he tried much harder, pity for him he has not got Tevez like WIM.

so it was the dreaded vote of confidence after all, it's probably best AG moves upstairs and let Lomas and Co have a try (they could hardly do worse) cos it looks like WH are doomed already under AG.

And drop Tevez?

When Balotelli comes back hes going to get back into the side and they are going to play the 3 of Tevez, Balotelli and Silva.

I just dont see the point in signing Dzeko, sure you can play Tevez on the left or right hand side but you are wasting him there, he is much better in the middle with everything going through him.

Signing Dzeko would just be City signing another player for the sake of it.

Tevez inthehole.jpeg?

Against weak sides it could def work.

I think it's fairly clear that it would just be City signing another player for the sake of it, that seems to be what they do.

I was thinking of this though:
Quote:
The use of Jo on the left, rather than the more obvious option of Johnson or James Milner, worked well for two reasons. First, because he provided an aerial threat for City. Not in the sense that he got into the penalty box and tried to get on the end of crosses, but because it meant Joe Hart had an option when he had the ball at his feet, and Fulham pressed City’s defenders so he was unable to play the ball to him.

It also meant that when Tevez dropped deep, as he always does, Jo was comfortable at becoming the highest player up the pitch, something City lack when Tevez drifts around and Milner, Johnson or Silva are forced to play that role. In turn, to provide left-sided width, Gareth Barry shuttled out towards that flank, something he did well at the start of the season – but in recent weeks, he seemed to have become more reserved. City were much more fluid.
Which makes sense to me from what I've seen of City this year. Yeah, it would mean one of Dzeko, Silva, or Balotelli would have to be dropped but squad rotation is normal and it's tough to keep everyone fit all the time anyway.

Plus with Kolarov coming back, they could play a fluid narrow 4-3-1-2/ 4-3-2-1 if Kolarov is going to provide width on the left.

----Tevez-------Dzeko------
----------Silva------------

---------Dzeko---------
---Tevez-----Silva----

etc.

But you're right, I don't think they really need him, I just like watching him play and wish he would come to the EPL.

Also, against weaker sides at home, if Mancini ever decided to go for it (lolololololololol) he could drop Barry and play Tevez in front of De Jong/Toure in a freeish role (Toure would have to stay at home more obv) and he'd have to convince Balotelli and Silva to track a little bit. Old school 4-2-4 ftw!

----------Dzeko-----------
--------------Tevez-------
---Silva--------------Balotelli/Milner
-----------------------------
----------------Toure-------
-------De Jong-------------

At home could be good.

The thought of Dzeko, Tevez, Balotelli and Silva on the pitch at the same time is awesome, but Mancini probably wouldn't even do it vs. a 4th league team.
11-23-2010 , 10:24 AM
Yeah the fact Mancini is in charge makes even less sense for them to sign him.

Or maybe Tevez will finally "retire", instead of threatening it every month.
11-23-2010 , 10:25 AM
I'd also play Silva in the free role then and Tevez on the right in a role similar to the one at Utd where he did a lot of work for the team, but that's probably just me.
11-23-2010 , 10:25 AM
Is it the same with AC MIlan about Pato, R80, Robinho and Ibra?
11-23-2010 , 10:37 AM
Those four combined don't have Tevez's workrate though.
11-23-2010 , 10:39 AM
Tevez might actually follow thru with his threat and retire if he gets put out left
