diaby and nasri played really well
sagna too

Arsha was arguably still our most dangerous player
he is quality

I wouldnt call them HUGE cashy. You had a few decent openings but no-one seemed prepared to pull the trigger.

we were creating chances early, but when we went down a goal we got really predicitable at times, mostly settling for crosses AFTER we allowed Chelsea to get organized (lol sick work Nasri, Clichy, and Diaby).

Rosicky should have come on at HT imo for Arsha, then play both him and Wilshere out wide with Nasri in the middle with Song/Diaby. Not ideal, but better than wasting Nasri out wide where he constantly slows the game down in a hugely negative way.

Just a difference of class really. We have fragile players, can't use injuries as an excuse. We'll always have key players out.

Felt we acquitted ourselves well but we were never going to win this w/o RvP, Walcott, Fabregas, and Vermaelen missing.

Would have been much worse if we lost 2-0 and both goals came from Fabianski howlers.

can someone make an ani gif of that alex strike? i hope that goal gives you gooners nightmares for weeks. what a quality strike, i did laps around my house when that went in.

oakf youre crazy if you think fab could have done better there, that ball was going straight at him and once it got past the wall it curved straight to that upper right corner.

[X] top of the league
[X] drogba scores against arsenal
[ ] toothbrush guy
[X] LOL liverpool

They played okay, but they were constantly getting in each others (and other people's) way. Sagna played well I guess.

Disagree about Arsha, Chamakh was our most dangerous player, both in the air and around the box with Wilshere, Rosicky, and Nasri all playing off him. I felt like if we were going to score, it was coming from either him scoring or setting up something.

what do you expect in an away game at the bridge, that we get 10 sitters lol?

after 30 seconds, good chance chamakh
15 seconds later, sitter kos

arsha had 2 very good shots saved by cech, Nasri was close once as well
Chamakh missed 2 other very good heading chances as well

+ some other stuff

you cannot expect more than that really(chelsea had about the same amount of chances -> chelsea not penetrative?)

LOL losing to Blackpool, i totally expected it, have nothing to say about it, didn't get to see it (thankfully).

I like Holloway though, good for him.

I had zero reaction to the goal tbh, in fact I almost laughed. Sick strike obv, but for some reason it didn't surprise me. Maybe because it happened in the blink of an eye.

lol

I had concerns that the team would jell, but it looks like they are/have. If so, they really could challenge for the title tbh. Too much quality in the side.

Nasri almost had a goal, and was a great chance, and Arshavin had a nice strike that Cech barely got

off the top, both of those easily could have been goals

Good exciting match this morning. I think it was a pretty good performance from Arsenal although Chelsea was still the best side for me fairly clearly. I'm more convinced than ever that Chelsea is simply the best team in the EPL this year. They may not win because of injuries/runbad, but they're the best team with the best squad. I agree they've had the easiest fixture list so far, but they're still playing EPL sides...it's not easy to embarrass them like Chelsea has done so convincingly. And all while United, City, and Arsenal have struggled against clearly inferior sides.

Wilshere was so good today, what an exciting prospect. I rarely hope for anything that benefits Arsenal, but here's hoping he doesn't suffer a serious injury like Ramsey did. He's going to be fun to watch for awhile.

Liking my City + United > Arsenal bet more every week

Arsenal really should have taken a lead which would have changed the game. Chelsea deserved the win absolutely, but yet again its a game that could easily have gone differently.

Some keepers absolutely would have saved that Alex shot (ie not unsavable by any means) but I don't want to criticize the keeper because most wouldn't have. Absolute rocket.

Hands up if you bankered liverpool? LOL. My record still stands. Every single insurance I have went for has given me 0 points. Not sure if that is good or bad. Bad probably. Only got 3 of 7 bankers too. FML I am bad at IKTS this year so far. 4 tough mediocre teams battlign it out this weekend. I got for two draws and two home wins. 2 draws a home and an away win but I obv get all of them wrong lol.
10-03-2010 , 01:46 PM
lololololol marty lost IKTS again

FYTE, GIVE HIM THE RANGERS AVATAR AGAIN
10-03-2010 , 01:46 PM
Btw I though both young Wilshere and Ramires were excellent today.

with the way man utd look at the moment and with arsenal's injuries, man city would be unlucky not to finish 2nd imo

Drogba is a beast, and Chamak looked like a bunny rabbit startled in the headlights.

Jesus Raz you really believe that FK was savable? I know the Arsenal GKing situation is laughable but cmn.

If the keeper stands at that side then yes but no keeper would therefore I dont see anyone saving it
