It seems kinda perverse that Fulham should get the fair play europa place when they have the highest total of red and yellow cards out of the whole premiership

You're doing it wrong.

I don't know the exact rules for the fair play league and I have no idea if that table is accurate or not but Fulham haven't had a single red card in the league this season which must help their case.

The fair play league is flawed anyway. It is far too easy for good sides (who have more possession) to do well in it, it doesn't seem to actually have much to do with actual fair play. Also, lol at any measurement which has Man Utd and Chelsea doing well on respect towards referees.

WH midfielder before Chelsea game: "Are we supposed to press on Essien and Lampard or sit?"

Grant: "You have to work that out yourselves on the pitch"

Hahaha, like the celebration at the end, not sure about the dive mid-dribble though, Drogba can teach him a few things

Rape jokes aside, rvp is awesome. He was quoted as saying we will be back stronger next year. Who knows, but I love the attitude. Id almost want him as our permanent captain if he wasn't so busto

Talk is cheap. He is hardly the next Tony Adams.

Well, he is one of the few vocal players we have. Agree that he needs to back it up on the pitch, but being openly optimistic is better than saying nothing at all.

Which in turn is only slightly better than saying "we will be crap next year, we have no hope", which isn't going to happen. Obviously there are various ways to lead a team, but when I look at Van Persie he doesn't exactly spring to mind as captain material.

if szczesny keeps the GK spot a couple years he could be captain. the lack of apparent leaders on the team is very odd. its obviously impossible for us to know for sure how players act off the pitch, but most teams at least have a couple that seem like they could be a leader without investigating too deeply.

united may be close to hammering out a deal for sanchez. good player. think modric is most ideal for their needs, but obv sanchez will be easier to get.

What positions does Sanchez play?

I'd have to imagine Wilshire is the next captain. Seems like he has a bit of character to him from the times I have watched Arsenal this year. Something the squad obv needs.

.

just cuz you get angry a lot and like to be a ****ing thunder**** doesn't make you a leader.

This is going to be the story of the summer.

City are going to be linked with every player the top clubs are supposedly interested in.

odd that there aren't any out of a whole team. i think 1/11 can be a good leader at least.
