our strikers got two fantastic goals today. hard to blame them too much today. we do have some issues. for one, kaboul has no discipline at rb. having to play bale at lb is a waste.

well unless city drop points against blackburn, the race for fourth is over.

Hate to say it but Redknapp seems to be settling for mediocrity at the moment. Since we won away to AC Milan, I've not seen a cohesive team performance for the whole 90 minutes. Granted we were much better against Arsenal mid-week but today proves how little invention and potency we have going forwards. Leaving it until 85 minutes to bring Crouch on when we should have been trying to put WBA to bed at 2-1 was a glaring error, as was not starting Sandro ahead of Huddlestone.

was just trolling a Chelsea fan for failing to beat Birmingham by more than 2 goals.

No Torres, but he was in such good goalscoring form.

Srsly tho, no Anelka? Drogba + Anelka work well together. Unless he's injured and I am unaware I see no reason why Carlo would play Kalou...

it was the same side that started midweek, with brana on for ferreira. it really is our choice xi on form.

redknapp is the only one i blame for today. from the start i thought he had it wrong, and it got worse from there. sandro is so much better than hudd its ridiculous. pav + defoe was a ridiculous choice up front. just figured he would try something new 33 games in. the lennon sub aggravated me most of all. playing a left side with bale and lennon is redundant. vdv or modric could have started on the left and played more centrally with bale coming forward. lennon could have played in his natural position. crouch should have been on far earlier. i woulda hooked defoe at half time. his goal was nice but who knows what would have happened if he wasn't out there being a waste of space 2/3rds of the game.

Torres confirmed substitute for the rest of the season?

Spot on. Defoe and Pav still seem to have a lack of understanding up front, which should be a key factor in never starting them together. Never thought I'd say it but we could really use a certain D. Bent.

Nah, 3 points ahead of loliverpool with a game in hand.

I know they have a few hard fixtures ahead but I reckon they'll make Europe.

Also, Liverpool playing Newcastle next.

Predictions on Andy Carroll's performance?

Liverpool have a very easy run in compared to Sp*rs, and they play each other @Anfield. Yids game in hand is @ the Bridge next weekend, and they have to play @ COMS as well

Yeah, just looked at Liverpools run-in. It is a lot easier. Tottenham are the toughest team they will face, and as you said, they'll play at Anfield where Liverpool will have the obvious advantage.

Aston Villa could cause a problem if they ever decide to play well again.
