I called it before the season that I thought Chelsea would win the league, partly because of the trip to Japan next month for ManU.

Also, good to see Wenger is making the change. One man can literally ruin a side, god damn. Give that arm band to Clichy, the dude is a straight up warrior for us.

Sir Alex Ferguson is considering whether to recall Fraizer Campbell from his loan spell at Tottenham in January -- and quashed any suggestion Danny Welbeck could be heading for a short-term stint away from Old Trafford.
It's going to be really interesting to see how high he rates Campbell and Welbeck. If he does in fact rate them high enough to then it might be bye bye Carlos.

I doubt that carlos will be leaving anytime soon. I think that Campbell should stay at spurs for the rest of the year so that he gets in as much playing time as possible. I also think that it'd be good for welbeck to possibly take a loan spell next year for a top flight or promotion chasing championship side.

I think that the Berbatov signing was a 3-4 year signing, and while we paid a lot, it was probably done so that we have a top notch striker around while welbeck and campbell mature.

While selling rossi didn't make me happy, for me there was always the thought that Fraiser Campbell was still in the youth side and should end up being very dangerous. I'd be much more upset right now if Campbell got sold because of a perception of not having enough room for him

aren't you a cheeky bastard, wasn't around a few weeks ago when your team was in the ****ter, now that you have won a few and moved out of last place you are all over the place. Sure you love the Arsenal turmoil, but whatever man. Honestly, you weren't even here fighting/talking/arguing about your team. I'd take our current troubles over the ****house that is your club any day. You guys will clay back to midtable, and harry will make you better, but your **** for brains director will **** everything up again, and the same old story will be repeated.

Second that. Anyway, pile on all you want. It was a mistake to name Gallas captain, its been admitted (directly or indirectly) and he's been stripped and dropped. We will move on. So, we won't win the prem this year. Okay, fine. We'll regroup and try again next year.

Really, I am not testy, most Arsenal fans think this move has been coming for a while. However, even with our recent problems our team is still leaps and bounds better than Tottenham, a **** team that was suppose to pass us last season and this season, and they haven't come close. They were abysmal for a long time starting last season, and were so this season. Blame it on the coach, whatever, he's probably partly to blame, but **** some Spurs fan coming around now and talking ****, as if moving out of LAST ****ING PLACE is some sort of achievement. I guess for them it is. Or making fun of their biggest rival is a source of pride. Really I was amused by Spurs being in last place, but other than that, I wasn't even thinking about them, because they are irrelevant to mostly everything in discussion to this season. Most people were looking at Villa, Everton, and City, for good reason, because they actually have good players and good coaches.

Ah The Genius of the special one. Letting Arse have Gallas so he could sow discord and strife, and swapping him for the paragon of sporting integrity Ashley Cole.

What a great bit of business.

We had cancer in our left lung. All we did was trade if for cancer in the right.

Would like to see at least Ramsey and Vela get a significant run out. Because from what I've seen on my busted feed is that Song and Diaby are just both atrocious.
11-22-2008 , 11:49 AM
Yup Ramsey + Vela + Even simpson should get in..

Ireland is ALWAYS in the "right" place at the right time this season..

**** it
11-22-2008 , 11:50 AM
Pretty much sums up the season so far. Clichy goes to clear but runs into Silvestre while doing so and the ball falls to Ireland for a free goal.
11-22-2008 , 11:52 AM
Yeah but usually we'd have 5-6 missed goal opportunities by now, we didn't do anything in the 1st half.
