Got my Rafael shirt yesterday. Wore it to school today and was walking around pretty much all day. 5 people yelled "**** AIG" at me. And a kid in a Liverpool shirt walked past me and he like saw me in the distance, got out his cellphone and was texting and never looked up again. LOL. I def would not have said anything either after last weekend either...

Ferguson mouthing off to the press about Benitez again.
Thanks for reminding us that you see Liverpool as your main threat Fergie.

I don't mind what he's doing, he's just trying to prove what Benetiz said earlier about Man U spending more isn't very correct.

Quote:
ITV Sport calculate that in terms of net spending - taking into account income from player sales - the clubs are roughly equal. Liverpool's net spending on players over the last five years is £82.5 million, while United's has been £85.5 million. Chelsea spent £154.8 million net on players over the same period, while Arsenal splashed just £3.4 million in net terms.
I know we haven't won anything in the last 3 years, but to be able to compete with the top clubs, play entertaining football and only spend a net of 3.4M in the last 5 years is something i really admire about Wenger and our club's financial model.

I usually don't question fergies team selections but today I don't know what he was thinking with leaving Rooney on the bench, he was our best player against liverpool and best player in the second half... United were VERY unlucky to get a goal in the second half had a few wtf moments at fulhams goalie making some godlike saves

You are right about the last part. They weren't godlike, just perfect place perfect time. Gotta ask questions about the finishing imo...

meltdown? one time plz
03-21-2009 , 01:07 PM
I turned it off before the second Rooney yellow, heard it was rubbish though...

complete crap, that's how we played and got the deserved result. Yes Fulham made some great saves, but it was a pathetic display. there's zero reason to be dropping points to fulham
