Player for player they are just better than us in most places. Whether it was Conte or not they all played to their real levels in the 2nd half. And as a team we couldn't match them

We were pretty terrible in the first half and pretty good in the second, we still have a distinct lack of cohesion without the ball all over the place but that can't change immediately.

I think Winks will go elsewhere and do pretty well (though I know I'm in the minority), but I really don't understand the Skipp hate from anywhere, half my mates think he should be one of the first names on the team sheet and the other half think he has nothing about him.

I'm towards the first camp, we are sooooo much better when he plays, it's just not a sexy role.

My problem with him is simple. He’s a DM that can’t defend. He is somewhat similar to Winks in that both leap into a challenge and get bypassed with ease far too often. Japhet annoys me too with his hopeless challenges, but at least he takes the man out rather than getting left in the dust.

Yes, I’m happy. I honestly don’t believe for a second that the choice was between him and a DM. I think Ole/Woody never intended on bringing in more MF help and Ronny has pretty much saved our asses in the CL alone. Basically, I don’t think United’s current problems are down to Ronny’s signing/presence and everything to do with bad management from the coaches and board
