Arsenal looked bad, so did we. Just about on board with the penalty decision, but not sure what was the difference between that and the one Leeds got against us last season. No corner was a joke though.

Cornet looked good, looking forward to seeing him starting games.

Just saw the Kyle Walker penalty and red card that was overturned in City's favour. Quite a gift to label that a clear and obvious error.

One positive from the Arsenal game besides obviously the much needed three points, is that Tomiyasu looks absolutely excellent so far. Reminds me of Sagna, who is maybe one of our all-time underrated players and one of my favorites.

that kyle walker decision shows me that i will forever be a soccer outsider.

imo that's a harder and more obvious foul than roughly 90% of the penalties i've seen given. like sure the south hampton player is starting to fall on his own, but walker prevents him from making contact with the ball by clipping his leg, and in turn walker got 0% ball throughout.

Burnley don't play like they do three years ago anymore. They're one of the higher pressing teams. They don't sit back and defend their area anymore and haven't for a while.

Arsenal weren't "playing on the counter" but the game was stretched at times because of thr directness of Burnley and the pace of our attackers.
