Evans, Vardy, Ndidi... In fact, out of our first team, I think, only Kasper and Tielemans managed to stay good the whole season.

Every team has injuries every season pretty much.

What a POS.

Was a bit surprised that the Wales FA hasn’t cut ties yet, but I suppose it makes sense to wait as so not to have to pay any compensation to this POS.

The coercive control bit is really messed up.
A friend of mine was the girl who went through hell with Justin Lee Collins.

meanwhile in south barnsley, details of their refunds for the 2019/20 season have arrived:

2019/20
As previously communicated, the process for those who selected Option 8 for a cash refund has taken significantly longer than anticipated.

The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted on every area of the club, with revenue streams decimated over the past 14 months, alongside an integration to a new ticketing system that means all refunds are being actioned manually and individually.

Cashflow has been affected dramatically since March 2020 and all we can ask is for your continued patience through these most challenging of times.

Refunds are being issued in chronological order when respective applications were made and although we did aim to conclude the process by this point, this unfortunately has not been possible. We apologise sincerely but can reassure all supporters who applied that refunds will be honoured as promised, at the earliest opportunity.

Alternatively, and following a productive Supporters Engagement Panel meeting on Thursday evening, a suggestion was put forward to offer fans awaiting a refund the option to redeem against a ticket or retail equivalent credit. We are pleased to confirm this option will be available, which would be of enormous benefit to the club’s current cashflow situation.

they're not ****ed in the slightest, are they?

My brother paid over £300 for a season ticket and didn’t get to see a single game. He said to me “I don't really mind, I just want to help to keep the club alive “

lol, they're insolvent. Anyone wanting a refund will be getting it from the next batch of incoming season ticket money.

Nice meta analysis for gym bros:

Cliffs: If you want to get bigger, just lift something until it hurts; if you want to get stronger, lift heavier weights.

Couple of tiny problems with that:

- This is in relation to the season before last, i.e. the one where people could actually watch games
- They put 20/21 season tickets on sale and closed their early bird discount window before Covid hit, which presumably will need to be refunded as well
- Many of their most deluded will have bought into Chansiri's multi year season ticket scam, and won't be putting more money in anyway, and I'm sure everyone else will be rushing in for matches against the behemoths of the modern game like Cheltenham and whoever wins out of Morecambe and Newport

Interesting, I always thought it was the opposite, although the extent of my 'lifting' is moving my one, women's size, kettlebell around my room after I stub my toe on it in the night.

My renewal would have been at £412 this season which was frozen from what I paid in the PL and that's far from the cheapest seat in the ground. Plenty of lower league clubs that offer cheaper than that. Some PL clubs as well, I believe City's cheapest seats come in at around that although obviously they don't need to gaf about matchday revenue

I paid £1400 last season and that was for Scottish football!! Admittedly it was a premium seat and that gave all home games, including Europe and the cup as well as access to a bar. I think Scottish football is the highest in Europe in terms of how much the fans contribute to the income of teams but that's due to the fact that we have always had incredibly **** tv deals, even worse than poorer leagues (in terms of viewing figures)

I get that City have that sweet oil cash but really, especially now that PL grounds for the big clubs aren't as tiny as they used to be, any of them could offer some portion of tickets for fairly cheap and barely notice the difference due to sponsorship and tbtvditw. Idk what prices are like at Old Trafford or Spurs' new stadium but take Arsenal... what would it cost them to take the worst 5k seats in the ground and charge 300 quid for a season ticket there? Or even have them available on a single match basis so that a lot more people can go to a game or two over the course of the season. Or maybe figure out a way to make it a special price for low income fans. It's not like this would affect their financial competitiveness in the slightest.

Might even earn them some goodwill the next time they want to erode competition structures for more guaranteed money.

Rangers. I've actually switched to a cheaper seat this season. It's now £752 as they've bumped up my current seat to £2300 and now class it as hospitality.
