Rumours Celtic are in for Ange Postecoglou as coach. Guy is an absolute genius and probably the kind of thing they genuinely need.

When he took over Brisbane over here 10 years ago he took one of the bottom clubs, cleared out a bunch of olds including Craig Moore and Danny Tiatto and subsequently went 37 games unbeaten in a parity/salary cap league playing the best football I have ever seen a domestic Australian club play.

His time managing Australia is hard to judge. We were coming off the Viduka/Kewell/Emerton golden era and he took over before a WC because we got pants 6-0 twice by Brazil and France. Again he cleared out deadwood and put Australia into a path to succeed which we did. He eventually left before WC 2018 (qualifying us there with a rubbish side) before going to Japan and winning again.

He would do good things IMO.

Either the Premier League allows both Welsh and Scottish clubs to enter, or it allows neither. The semantics that you point out should not exclude Scottish clubs from entering because as you said, it is not the English Premier League.

There are good reasons why Welsh sides played in the English pyramid. They have been debated here at length before.
