Main issue is the lack of a clear alternative. If it's the saudis I'd rather keep the yank leeches. I hope they keep the pressure up though, maybe they can be forced into some cosmetic concessions at the very least.

i dont really understand why football clubs need to have some small number of owners

most businesses at the size of united are just publicly traded and have a million people all owning a small number of stocks with the largest owner being blackrock at 4% or a petro state like norway at 3% or something

United fans will get nowhere as long as they continue show up and buy merchandise. These owners care about 1 thing and it's money. Until you start to seriously cost them £££ they don't GAF about your opinion even if they pay temporary lip service to it.

It's far better for the long term future of the club to just boycott until they're gone than to have them as owners for the next 20/30 years.

Same goes for Arsenal.

I wondered why Sky had given Lee Hendrie as commentary gig and then saw about his bankruptcy/suicide attempts. It is basically an act of charity. Fair play to them for it.

GG. Nervy moments at the end and with the Rodriguez chance. I was a bit surprised Dyche didn't try and change something in the first half given how it went, I guess once you were losing he didn't have much choice.

For the most part the game was played in a reasonable spirit although the Fornals challenge could easily have provoked a South American style brawl involving all 22 players plus the benches.

It would've been robbery if we'd nicked anything although it could've happened with the J Rod chance. Didn't think there was much in the Fornals challenge really. Yellow at worst.
