Genuinely couldn’t remember the last goal Spurs scored in the league (Hojberg v Liverpool). Some effort to finish beneath Arsenal this season too

Can only imagine such consistent abject performances give you a feeling of what it’s like to support West Ham. How do you deal with it Hoppie?

3 - Tottenham have suffered three successive Premier League defeats for the first time since November 2012 under André Villas-Boas. Fractured.

is that bad?

He should have said "because it was a game of football, not gawf."

He's going to need to get Doctor Needles working on Kane or he will be done by the end of the month.

I just dont get it with Alli. Isn't in Mou plans, but they won't let him leave. He would go to the Euros easily on form, but I doubt he goes because he hasn't played at all. Think that burns that bridge permanently

9 - Dominic Calvert-Lewin has scored nine headed goals in the Premier League since the start of last season; the only player in Europe's top five leagues with more over this period is Robert Lewandowski (12). Speciality.

when dominic calvert-lewindowski plays, he plays, but he doesn't always play

I just don't get it. He's obviously still brilliant and forgotten more about football than most managers will ever know, but he used to be an absolute KILLER.

I get that the game passes almost every manager by at the elite level at some point, but he can't be the same person as the guy above. What happened to him?

Mou probably won't be here in August, it probably makes sense to hang onto him for a few months and see if the next manager fancies him. The PSG loan would have seemed reasonable though.

I can only assume sacking Mou is going to be expensive and I'm not sure Levy is happily going to pay that price

and i'm saying this having recently display great sense for if managers are going to get sacked

I always liked Mou for his personality and his funny quotes but hated him when he managed United. Crap performances, negativity and constantly blaming everyone else. He parks the bus then throws his players under it. When he is not managing your club its easier to laugh at his antics but when he is you just want him out.

Did Mourinho bring the phrase 'parking the bus' to England? Huge LOL if true

You can manipulate the stats however you like. On the other hand, I think since TSO took over only 3-4 teams have more points.

However, the football is dreadful and Mourinho is lucky he is playing in an empty stadium. It would be utterly toxic otherwise. Spurs fans can put up with not winning anything, but not bad football, and this is the worst since Ramos and possibly Gross.

You can point to two points of the season where it's gone wrong. The 3-0 capitulation v West Ham was the first. We were playing terrifically well up to that point. After that, TSO revered to type and we were too negative in our approach.

Then the 2-1 defeat to Liverpool. This appeared to really knock the stuffing out of the team and we just haven't looked the same since.

It is what it is though. He will either turn it around or he won't, but a bit like Chelsea we have too many good players to not get decent again at some point.

lol we've played well in about 5 games this season mate, even against Man City/Arsenal/Chelsea we were well under the cosh. Results orientated thinking....

We've come a long way since November when Pep was a fraud and there was going to be a sick league battle between Chelsea & Spurs

We have. The rampant midfield trio in the Premier League is currently rice, potato salad and beans as well. I didn't see that coming.

I definitely hope more fans share your feelings on the subject. Long may it last.

xG is just a scam, but since i know most people in this thread believe in it:

Spuds xPts since TSO took over

19/20

20/21

Maybe the strategy of: "score on the first shot, then park the bus" wasnt sustainable? Could be that Tottenham just have too many great players just like Chelsea. I have no idea.
